Best so far
This product has more than one use. I understand people use it after a workout. I am disabled, so workout are out. I had surgery where they removed 90% of my stomach, and the entry to it is about the size of a pencil eraser. Liquids go down easier, and most solid foods burn. The doctors recommended this, and it works great. I take it in plain water (150 calories per 8 oz glass with two scoops), but it suggests milk as an alternative (about 300, depending on the type of milk). I think it tastes great, but that just my opinion. Some prefer the vanilla. This is a review, so don't take it as medical advice, but a few glasses a day are very filling to me, along with a multivitamin and a calcium/magnesium supplement.I use about 3 cans a months, and the energy boost and weight loss is great. Now my neighbors mention how much of a change they see in me, and when I tell them about this, they try some. Their results vary, but none report negative effects. As for me, its a wonderful product.

... are looking for a solid protein supplement for a great price, then look no further
Review of EAS Protein PowderIf you are looking for a solid protein supplement for a great price, then look no further. EAS has provided a high-quality product for a reasonable price and you must take advantage of this opportunity. I recently purchased EAS protein powder and have been using the product for about a month now.ProsThe powder mixes exceptionally well in both milk and water, but I prefer chocolate milk for the better taste. I take two scoops directly after finishing a workout and two scoops later on for a snack. I also take two scoops of the protein on rest days, in order to keep my protein levels up. The biggest benefit this product has to offer is its price. Under 40 dollars for a 5 pound tub of protein is incredibly reasonable and is actually the cheapest that I could find. This protein powder is packed with 26 grams of protein per serving which is very sufficient for any user. The powder also has over 6 grams of branched chain amino acids, which are essential to muscle recovery and growth. Not only does this powder contain large amounts of protein and BCAAS, but it also has over a gram of glutamine in it, which helps the muscle fibers recover quicker.ConsThe main drawback of this product is the subpar chocolate taste. Although the taste it not as good as some other protein powders I have used, it does not bother me too much and I will continue to use this product.RecommendationOverall, this is a fantastic product and has surpassed my expectations. The chocolate may not taste the best, but results are far more important than taste. I recommend this product to anyone looking to gain some muscle or even to someone who simply needs more protein in their diet. It works well for both men and woman and can be used as a meal replacement or a snack. I plan on buying this product again in the future.

Wendy's Frosty... need I say more??
1 cup of 1% or nonfat Lactaid milk, 2 tbsp cocoa powder, 2 scoops of this EAS protein powder, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 1 packet Stevia in the Raw, 2 cups cubed ice (not crushed).... blend on ice crush setting in the blender until the mix starts to "expand" and turn lighter in color.... keep blending and blending to get air into the mix and achieve this magic result: a mind-blowing milkshake with the taste and texture of a Wendy's Chocolate freaking Frosty that it fills a 32 oz cup for less than 300 calories!! I was running out of this EAS powder so I bought a big bag of Cytosport 100% Whey on sale at Costco b/c it was a great deal, but it just doesn't have the right formula to create the texture of the amazing Frosty copycat, so the Cytosport will be relegated to use in protein pancakes and the shaker bottle. Had to restock w/ the 5-lb tub of this EAS Chocolate Whey so I can keep getting my post-workout protein dose in the Frosty format!!!

Comparing EAS to Optimum Nutrition.
Well, here's my honest review of EAS 100% Whey, I got the Chocolate flavor. First off, the flavor is actually very good (even when mixed with water). I should've done more research on the product before buying it however.Due to me not reading, I didn't realize that two scoops were one serving, meaning it's 2 scoops for 26G of protein. The scooper is fairly large too, and as the label says, there are 58 servings per 5LB tub. Compare this to what I used to take, O.N. Gold Standard Whey. While a 5LB tub of O.N is $58 and 5LB of EAS is $41 at the time of writing this review, O.N delivers 24G of protein per scoop, with roughly 74 servings per 5LB tub.So on price, Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard is $58 / 74 servings = $0.78 per serving (1 scoop).EAS is $41 / 58 servings = $0.70 per serving (2 scoops). Now maybe my math is a little rusty but 74 servings - 58 servings = 16 leftover servings in O.N. come the end of the 5LBs. Multiply that by EAS's price $0.70 comes to about $11, added to EAS's $41 price brings it up to around $51-52 for a rough comparison to what you're paying for and getting vs the competition. Still cheaper, but it's not as good a deal as I originally had thought.O.N uses whey protein isolate as the main ingredient, where EAS is mostly whey concentrate. Might not be a big deal to some, but it's to be noted.EAS doesn't mix well with a shaker bottle vs O.N. The protein in the tub of EAS is what I'd describe as sticky. It clumps together in the tub and in the blender bottle. I haven't tried it blended but I'm sure that'd get rid of the problem, I personally don't like to use a blender so maybe someone else can chime in on this. O.N mixed well in seconds and I never had clumping issues.I had to shake this EAS for a good minute or two for most of the clumps to separate. So TL;DR comparing EAS to Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard.EAS still IS cheaper by about $6 for what you're getting, even though it's using 2 scoops per serving vs 1. So if you're looking for a good deal and that's all you care about, here you go.However, EAS doesn't mix as well, uses less whey protein isolate, and is also higher in carbs for people who are cutting or counting carbs.Honestly it's not a bad protein but I've had better and for a price difference of about $6, I'm going to be sticking with O.N. Hope this review helps.
