This grass is not dark green, looks like my grass when it's ready to be watered, but it looks like grass. It is also a nice texture, not crinkly paper like or too rough. I laid it out and it was almost flat immediately, unlike other grass that stays curled up forever. The dog took to it right away and that's the whole point, so I'm very pleased. I don't have a cement area, my porch is wood, so when I put a grass mat on the front porch for the puppy, I put potty pads underneath to keep the urine from staining the wood. It works great and only requires occasional changing. That works good if you're w/the dog, but a front porch isn't safe to just leave the puppy since he can escape, and we live in the country, so you have to be vigilant for predators. We decided an additional safer area was needed, and decided to use our back deck, which we call the playpen. The dogs love it out there, but they needed a potty area, so having good results w/our previous dog grass, I bought this grass. Being outside, but in an uncovered area that is made of wood presented some new problems. As in the front porch, I wanted to protect the wood, but since the deck isn't covered, I was afraid once it rained all the potty pads under the grass would get full, leak and stain. I found a large plastic replacement tray for a dog kennel, that fits the grass almost perfectly. I put potty pads between it and the grass and this gives a good potty area for the dog. When it rains, I just move the grass to the deck and lean the tray against the wall. The grass gets a washing, the potty pads stay dry and the deck remains unstained. Someone else may have a better idea, but this is working great for us. It also comes in handy at night. Dog is now able to go outside and be safe on the back deck, and his leavings are contained. This grass is doing it's job. It is fairly priced and feels better than some other dog grasses out there.

We have a large above ground pool and instead of having rubber mulch we wanted something easier to maintain along with having space for our dogs to use. This turf was perfect! It feels great, easy to take care of, and compliments the space well. We do treat it twice a month with a cleaner due to the dogs and our salt water pool but so far it’s held up nicely. One piece we bought a year prior to check it out before we bought 2 more. It’s held up great, even in Midwest winters and the dogs love it in months where grass isn’t usually an option. Highly recommend if you have a landscape project or a space you want to replace with turf.

Product seems good. I haven’t noticed the shedding that some buyers complained of. Don’t like the packaging. I bought a 8X16 piece. For some reason they fold it up and put it in a box. Must be the only folks that ship a roll of carpet in a square box. Still waiting for the creases to subside

Update 05/22/22 This stuff is amazing. Here it is a little over 2 yrs and it still looks great. The dogs use this spot for the "lavatory" so it takes a lot of abuse. I clean up what I can then hose the grass down and let the remainder go through to the soil underneath. I dump a gallon of white vinegar if it starts to smell but that is only about every 4 to 5 months or so. Visitors ask me how I keep the animals from using it so I know it doesn't smell. (Sometimes we get used to the smell and don't notice it.) The last pic is one I took this morning. The trunk is a persimmon tree that is thriving so the "grass" hasn't affected it's production at all... this year we will have a bumper crop!My reason for installing this was to cover the rocks. I have a Lab pup who insists on eating rocks... all shapes and sizes... and this is where he was digging them up from. Not counting interruptions, it took me about an hour to rake the leaves then install the "grass". It's an 8 ft X 10 ft space. I had to cut it around the trees and a standard pair of stainless steel scissors worked great. My poor pup was unsure where to do his business this morning so I had to reassure him that this was still his spot. It cleaned up beautifully with a "poop bag".

In contrast to some of the negative reviews, the product I got has a high quality. Looks and feel are very realistic. Soft to touch and does not get sticky. Comes in a square package so I had to lay it down under the sun for like 2-3hrs until the creases straightens out. It is also easy to cut to your desired size and shape. I had an issue on the delivery which is totally the fault of the carrier but nevertheless the seller is very responsive and helpful. They were able to resolve the issue right away. 5 stars to this product and the seller!

The media could not be loaded.  My sweet dog has developed diabetes and become blind. I got a small piece of this to make an inside emergency potty spot for her, but she never took to it. Once I got the ramp I used the rest of the larger piece to provide a recognizable soft surface for her. She does find it to be far better to walk on than the surface of the ramp alone.This grass has a soft hand and I’d love to use it on our patio full time. The edge I’ve cut haven’t frayed, it was well worth taking a chance on it.

I only write reviews for truly great products or truly great disappointments. I was looking to add this to a golf sim enclosure to catch balls and give them soft landing. The grass layer of this could not be any thinner. Which is a shame because the hard back base layer is also gives it a nice sturdy feel. However the top layer really misses the mark. The reviews about the grass being lush are laughable. I even raked the grass to try and fluff it but it’s like a bad comb over. Buyer beware.

Excellent quality, great texture and color. Lays flat on concrete for easy installation. Great size selection from seller with fast delivery.
