This is a stunningly well written and deeply affecting book. It gives historical texture to a debate that is so often conducted in the abstract. But also provides a detailed picture of what - in real terms - it might look like to make reparations. A strange thing to say about a book like this, but I couldn't put it down. Highly, highly recommend - it's extraordinarily good.
