I always read the reviews and take with a grain of salt. Some reviews said they smelled. I'm a country girl and the burlap smell brought back many memories! Didn't bother me at all. I love the rustic farmhouse look they brought to my dining area. They laid flat, no ironing out wrinkles or trying to flatten. Love them! They were perfect!

The quality was so good I bought another one. Looks amazing on my kitchen table. Really makes the center piece display pop....

**Update** I am putting this update in because I bought these sometime back. Yes, I put them in the window in front of the sun & aired them out. I absolutely love them! It really was annoying to have to do it but if you buy them know that you have to air them in the sun & then they really are beautiful, thick & so sturdy. It’s worth it.Original review-I cannot give this 5 stars though I would like to. They are very nice to look at and I look forward to using them. The problem comes in the fact that they arrived very DAMP & they SMELLED terrible. Musty & like a harsh chemical odor. I contacted the vender & they said that this is how they will arrive sometimes coming from CHINA. Ugh! They recommended putting them out in the sun & letting them dry out & if I wasn’t happy I could start a return. I kept them in the sun for a day already & they have dried but still smell. I will try again when we have another sunny day. Thought I’d share. I bought table runner to match & it was fine & again I love the colors but musty chemical smell I can do without. I buy things & expect to use them when they arrive not have to go through putting them in the sun & such.

Exactly what I was looking for. The color is a perfect light turquoise/aqua color and I am very pleased. It’s a good quality and I would buy it again.

Look and size are perfect

They seem like they will be durable, they are pretty. But they smell like a swamp. Like damp rotting plants. My cats won’t stop getting on the table to rub all over them, they are obsessed. I guess, like dogs, they like to roll on stinky things. I’m trying hanging them up in a bathroom with the door closed and the window open to air them out. So far it’s been days and no luck. I will have to wash them, even though it says to just spot clean, as a last resort. I hope they don’t fall apart. Wish me luck!Edit: After a couple weeks airing out they can sit on the table without the cats obsessing over them. Bringing it up to five stars. :)

Ils sont rustiques et fidèles à la photo. C'est exactement ce que je voulais, ils sont parfaits! Par contre attention, je ne suis pas certaine qu'ils se lavent bien et les détacher si sauce ou vont rouges dessus donc prudence! Pour ma part il se peut que je mette des napperon ronds en tissus plus lavables, ceux-ci donc seront plus pour faire beaux sur ma table

Beautiful! Of course it's jute so you should expect there to be an odor. But the smell disappears after a while. It adds character to any room. I highly recommend it!
