So far so good
I usually use oil based sealers, but I thought I'd try a water based as it is so much easier to deal with. I have an Ipe deck that I left natural, but after 5 years I noticed some checking on the surface and was concerned about splinters so I sanded it down and sealed it. The nice thing about the water based product is that it dries so fast. I did 5 or so boards at a time on each end and work to the middle because I was using a brush and you have to get the second coat on before an hour passes. Most of the time I could go back and do the second coat in 15-20 minutes, when it was colder I'd wait about 30 minutes. At 70 degrees plus you definitely want to do the second coat sooner than an hour. When it goes on it looks a little milky and there were some white specs, but it dries totally clear. There is barely any smell and it cleans up so easy. It looks really good. I finished it a couple of weeks ago and the water beads up and doesn't soak in. I'll be happy if it lasts 3-4 years.

Best seal coating
We have used various types of Penofin and Messmers on our Tigerwood deck over the years. Both of which give a great finish, but as our deck is south facing, and has essentially full sun exposure, it requires at least 3 treatments each year to ensure the color stays. The Seal-Once coating has been so much more protective from water and UV rays, and has allowed our deck to maintain its color far longer with a single application compared to the other coatings.I will say when applying the coating it is a bit worrisome as it goes on white, but dries clear (thankfully!). One thing to note is that it made our deck extremely slick. Basically, it feels like a dance floor, where you could slide across the length of the deck in your socks if you felt the need.In the end, it is great to always see the water beading up on the deck, and it still has that "just stained" look!Hands down, if another application is needed, i will be buying this stuff over the other big names in the exotic coating game.

Beautiful solid teak finish
I've applied the sealer to the teak wood on my 2008 motor boat. I had to clean the wood first with the chemical solution by Iosso Teak cleaner. Then I sanded the wood and only after that I've applied the sealer based on manufacturer's recommendations. The wood preparation is what takes the most time and effort, actual sealer application is relatively easy. So far, I'm very pleased with the results. Only time will tell how durable over time and resistant to the weather and the elements the sealer actually is.

Impressive results
Outdoor Ipe furniture that I have sealed with Brazilian Rosewood oils before never looked this good or resisted water this well before. The oils turned the Ipe very dark and seem to have a sheen until they didn't and then the mildew in south Texas took them over within a year. This outdoor furniture set takes a good 6+ hours to clean and prep before you apply the sealant, so the oils didn't last more than a year before another treatment was required. I don't look forward to that chore. After three months of using this sealant, it still beads the rain. I can tell no difference in appearance from the first week I applied 2 coats, it still looks great 2 months later. It goes on thin and milky. Drys to touch within an hour on a day over 80F. Having more confidence in this product not requiring so much maintenance next season.

Amazing with IPE
Strongly recommended for Deckwise IPE tile. Without any protection, IPE wood will turn gray so after sanding them with 40-80 grain I decided to apply this SEAL-ONCE EXOTIC Premium wood sealer. Now we feel we are on the deck of a yacht

Great wood sealer.
This is so far doing a great job protecting a wood-carved totem in my yard. Better than anything I have ever tried.

It needs to be reapplied yearly, it is not a permanent sealer.
It was very easy to apply. It had the consistency of milk so it seeped into all the had to reach spots. We used it on teak patio furniture.

Easy coating to apply and little prep required on IPE bench
First photo is unsealed IPE slats on bench. Second photo (with dog) is newly sealed bench slats using "natural" color. Third photo is closeup of sealed slats after rainfall. I took the product technical support advice and sanded all surfaces of the bench IPE slats with 120 grit on first bench and coarser 80 grit on second bench This opened the pores up to accept the sealer. (confirmed by a water droplet test to see if product would be absorbed) Went on easily and recoated a second time within the prescribed hour. 48 hours later it rained and the close-up picture shows the water droplets on the second bench (80 grit sanding). Mission accomplished! I used the same product to seal the ends with many many coats (approx 10). The color of the benches did not/ unnoticeable change with the "natural" color. The product is thin enough where you can be sloppy or inconsistent and it doesn't impact the appearance. Cleanup was easy also. Obviously, can't comment on the longevity at this point. ( I gave it a 4 star on thickness since it is a thin coating which makes it good for applications inconsistencies but a slight negative for multiple coats.)
