Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  So far the best budget drone that I have had. Great range for a non-gps drone and long flight time due to its high capacity battery. Love the fact that the camera can be tilted up and down to get different shots of the surroundings, and quality is very good as the resolution is 1080p. It is also very compact when folded, measuring only 18cm x 8cm x 6cm, making it perfect for taking it in the backpack when travelling. The controller has a good fit to the hands and is comfortable, and the buttons react well and is easy to use. Design-wise is simply beautiful as it can be seen in the images. Definitely a great drone for documenting my summer trips!

The drone looks a lot like much more expensive offerings from DJI, with foldable arms and an overall compact size. Slightly flimsy but functional remote control with cradle for your mobile works well. Good features , like FPV, HD camera, 1 touch take off and landing. However, the drone was not well calibrated out of the box and on using the one touch take off it immediately veered into the wall and it was impossible to calibrate indoors or outdoors rendering it virtually unusable. It also seems to have damage one or two of the motors after only a couple of quite minor (and totally expected) bumps. It's shame, but I can't recommend this drone at all.

Avoid!Well 1 week of fun, and everything started falling apart. The drone became unresponsive and eventually lost all transmission. Understandably crashed at this point and let's just say it's not built to withstand any kind of impacts, so it's now in pieces.Tried to communicate with the sellar but no response, so have issued a refund.Waste of time.

Spent a while looking at the many types and price ranges of drones. I actually want to get into drone racing due to the high speed and customisation options. With this in mind I went for the E511 and not the E511s (which has GPS and all the follow me modes.) I want to learn how to fly a drone, I didn't want the systems flying for me. I want to be able to crash! I also required a decent battery and small form factor so i can quickly and conveniently set up. For a starter drone this has so far ticked all the box's. It has 3 power modes which you can use as you get more confident and if you have some VR Goggles you can use the FPV mode, (I have some really cheap £15 goggles and drop my phone into those) so trying out all the things you can do with a much higher priced, specialised racing drone. In regards, and i suppose the most important part - how does it fair up when you get things wrong. Brilliant. I have crashed so many times and although that is my fault trying in my garden. Fence, roof and its even been in the pond and it just keeps going. When in open space you don't have problems!If your looking for a 'normal sized' starter drone at a great price point, want to learn how to fly and don't need the current GPS options and fly me modes then I would highly recommend this. I am just about to order a couple more batteries so I can learn for longerWould recommend.

I am so excited that i received my replacement drone. The first one developed a fault and I contacted the manufacturer, Eachine and they replaced it. The drone is just brilliant fun and indeed a great purchase for any beginner like me. What I liked most as a beginner are the blade protectors that require to be screwed in place. The good part of that is that they don’t pop off on impact. I commend Eachine for their integrity in keeping their word as in their terms of sale as well as their faithfulness to me as a client. I hold no second thoughts from buying from them again!

A very well built drone with plenty of functions that usally can not be found on bugdet drones. It is also very user friendly with a detailed manual and superb manouvrability.Also important to mention that it comes with blade protectors and spare blades include in the box (in case you are unlucky with the learning curve).

As my first drone I must say I’m impressed, easy to operate especially with the tilt phone setting, images and videos are really good quality and stable, haven’t tested the range yet but seems to be quite good, I’ve crashed it into a few walls and the top of a tree, after knocking it with a stick it fell about 30-40 feet hitting a few branches on the way and it’s still in perfect working order so I’d say it’s fairly robust, I’d definitely recommend this drone to someone wanting to buy their first.

I've got the smaller version of this the e58 which is also great and something I would also recommend, so decided to give this version a try. I have to say that I'm very impressed with it; the battery life is good, the camera is great, it's fast and so easy to fly. Eachines seem to make great drones at low prices. Highly recommended.
