Probably the easiest craft project
So I was really skeptical at first ordering this product, but I wanted something fun and different to keep me preoccupied this quarantine season. I have an Etsy store and am a HUGE Potter Head, so I decided to see if a color changing face was would be fun. Turns out that me along with HUNDREDS of other LOVE this as well!!!! I am so thankful for Atlanta Chemical, and their easy to use color changing fair paint! A bit expensive but 100% worth it! :)

BAD BATCH, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
I had been having decent success with the paint until, an entire batch of masks have come back flaking, peeling, and some not even changing colors. I have done over 300 masks and have only had this problem with one specific batch from one specific jar. The customer service is terrible and dismissive as if nothing could possibly be wrong with their product, ever. It sucks that they have this market completely cornered.

Great Product
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I'm a fashion design student currently using the black to colorless paint in my senior collection and it's awesome. The company is very friendly and quick to respond in inquiries. Would highly recommend!

99 +
This product works as described but you have to know what you really want. I wanted something that would change right at body temperature. Figured 99 would work pretty good. Nope. Too much environmental effect. That was my mistake though. If you want it to change colors by touch you need to use one that transitions at a lower temperature.

Works OK, a bit tricky to use, a very thick paint
Most of the thermochromic material (color changing with heat) I've gotten has been very similar, for all I know it all comes from the same factory. This is *31C (~88F)* color changing, meaning it will be black most of the time, but change to white (or clear, in liquid) under heat (body heat, hair dryer, etc). This is good for covering secret messages that reveal with heat. This is designed as a fabric paint for screenprinting. I didn't use it for that so can't report on that purpose. I was trying to use it as an alternative to powder for applying to paper without having to mix. It was okay, but so thick it had to be diluted (water was fine). I ended up preferring a proper thermochromic *ink* as made by Atlanta Chemical, but your mileage may vary (especially if you're using it for the intended purpose of fabric painting). It's also available in other temperature-thresholds (instead of 31C) and colors (instead of black-to-clear).

Pricey, but so much fun!
A little goes a LOOONG way. This was great stuff to work with, easy to put on, very sharp dark color. The more layers of paint, the more grey when the color does change. Didn't work quite the way I wanted it to on the cook's aprons as I don't think they changed while they worked (which I don't get because that kitchen was easily over 100-degrees!) But it is still a really fun t-shirt feature. Also worked great for an escape room element- heated up with hand warmers really well

Worth it!
I love that I'm able to use this thermochromic fabric paint! Water based, so it's on the "thinner side". I would complain that the containers are so small and it's so expensive but, I can't find it being made by anyone else so I don't know how much of a demand there is for it. But I love using it!

It’s Magic in a Jar
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This product is AMAZING! I have ordered the fabric paint several times now to help me create this magical mask reveal. I recommend this product to anyone that asks what they should use. The possibilities are endless!! They provide clear care instructions with every order and are very quick to reply to emails should you have any questions.
