Good starter
Son enjoyed learning on this toy. Only downside was the wood started to crack with a month of buying it. Would be nice to have maintenance instructions on how to care for the wood so it would last.

Great For Tricks!!
Although this kendama dents pretty much on any trick, it's it's all around perfection. Great for balance tricks like lunars and lighthouses. All around great product!

Lunars out the box, love this dama. Mine came super balanced and ball design is great for tracking.

Great Kendama with only one small flaw
The Ken and Ball feel great, and the balance is awesome. I was coming from a cheap Kendama. It took getting use to but once I did I really felt the difference in quality.My only gripe is the marks that show up on the ball after only a few hours of play (in attached image). The ball has a coating of a rubbery type paint and has a good grip on the cups, but it is so soft that it is easy to dent.
