They stay on but maybe more rubber and a little bigger (we have a huge dog).
Good product but they stay on but maybe more rubber and a little bigger (we have a huge dog).

Cute sock
Ordered a M, our girl is about 40 lbs. Wish it was longer but the sock stays on and she doesnโt seem to try to pull it off. Walks fine in it. Cute and looks comfortable. Bought it because nothing worked to cover up a sore spot she constantly licked on her leg raw.

Doesn't stay on
Cute, and goes on pretty easily but doesn't stay where it should. It twists and the grippers end up on the top of her paw in no time. This makes them slippery on my wood floors.

Cute.
They were very cute but ran a little small

They serve their purpose
Our little guy is a constant paw licker so while we are trying to change his diet we needed something to block his persistent tongue. These worked! Sure he can get them off but they fit easy enough and are very cute. I think if I went to order these again I would just get one more size up though. We got a medium, so a large wouldโve been better. Heโs a 1.5 year old golden.

SO CUTE and EXCELLENT QUALITY but NOT for traction purpose
I bought these for my senior pup who is not steady and slippety sliding on my hardwood floor. My boy is a17 lb pekingese and the medium fits him well, comfy and not tight. Problem is that the sox do not stay in place to maintain the traction part to his paw pad which is only way it will help with traction. I suppose if it was tighter it may help but I don't want to risk impeding circulation on my pup or him overheating. Sadly have returned BUT these are soooooo cute!!

A great buy for our 3-legged dog
Last year we moved into a one-story home with hardwood flooring. What began as a non-issue gradually became a problem: our three-legged dog, missing her right rear leg (I'll explain at end), developed increasing difficulty walking/running, especially after getting up from lying on the floor. Age and a light injury contributes to decreased mobility and traction. We added several area rugs over time which only helps so much. We originally bought medium socks for our 55 lb terrier mix. They were too tight so decided to try large. Works very well even used only on her back leg. From time to time it does turn and needs adjusted. Of course, each dog is different; the more active the animal the more likely the sock will turn. Very long toenails will eventually tear the sock. When dirty they hit the washer. I would recommend these to anyone. If they don't work it might be due to incorrect sizing. Now, a quick story about the dog: she was hit by a train. Yes, a train! She was taken to the local shelter where the vet amazingly saved her life. She was a skinny, marked up mess. After weeks of the shelter searching for the owners, nobody came forward and we adopted her. She was someone's dog because of the way she listened and behaved from the outset. We tend to think she got loose from someone traveling through the area, or owner's feared they'd be liable for the medical care. Our lives are better because of her and she also has a great life. Anyway, I hope the review is helpful and that people find the story behind the dog interesting.

Great for Helping Sore Paws and Pads to Heal!
I bought these to keep my dog from licking and fussing with his paws when he's had issues with them. The licking and fussing keeps the paws from healing, especially if I have to put medicine or moisturizer on his pads. For example, he seemed to have a grass allergy for a few weeks in the spring, and he was continually licking and biting his nails. Another time, he got very dry pads from playing fetch near wet concrete around a pool (I'm more careful now when he's near a pool!) and he was fussing with his pads (and licking off the medicine I was spraying on the pads to help them heal.)They're easy to put on and take off, and I can leave them on him when he goes out in the back yard (if a sock or two falls off while he's running around out there, they're inexpensive to keep a few pairs spare, and I usually find the missing sock when cleaning up the yard.) When these socks get dirty, I just throw them in the wash. Right now, he has a little nick on one of his pads from running on crunchy snow, and one of these socks is keeping him from constantly licking the pad (he got medicine from the vet so it helps that stay on, too.)They don't have the best traction because the rubber part is just on the bottom and they often twist around a bit on his feet so that the rubber part doesn't stay on the bottom of the feet, but my dog does pretty well with them on the hardwood floors anyway. If your dog has trouble in these socks with flooring, the "RC Pet Products Sport Pawks Dog Socks, Paw Protection" socks are better for traction (because the rubber grip part goes all the way around the bottom of the sock) but those are a bit more difficult to get on and off quickly, and also, I feel like they don't "breathe" as well because of the expanded rubber grip. Here's a link to to those socks: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00SI0TQT0/I got an X-large -- my dog is about 55-60 pounds. They're probably a bit bigger than he needs, but sizing up helps the socks be easy to get on and off sore paws, and I feel like the larger size is more breathable for healing. In summary, highly recommended for sore paws and pads and I think I've saved quite a few dollars from vet visits with these socks!

WARNING! Contains DEHP (Cancer causing Agent)
Iโm very unhappy that nowhere in the ad there is a sign of this ingredient. As someone who has a small baby crawling all over the floor and accidentally face plants on the floor Iโm very Concerned and am not willing to use this product.DEHP is know for causing cancer and attacking the liver. I know itโs hard to get the chemical passing it thru the skin however I will not take any chances. Seller Put this information as itโs very Important!I will say the packaging and product feel quality is great and it fits my dog perfectly but now because of this agent, I feel I just threw out $15 because this information was not provided to me as the consumer. Very disappointed.

Teeny tiny sizing. Not true guide. Disappointing.
Took a long time for product to arrive. Well packaged though. Fit only for cat size paws, definitely not for cocker spaniel. Quality ok, but would not trust sizing guide at all.

XXS is too big for Chihuahua
Foot pad size fits but the elastic top is too big for her legs and they just fall off. Surprised the smallest size doesn't fit, she's not a teacup pooch so I thought they'd fit. Maybe instead of a foot pad size you need to include leg circumference measurements.

My dog seems to like them
I have a 35lb (larger size) French Bulldog. I bought the large. I may have to order the medium because the large do fall off his back legs.My dog has an auto immune disease that causes his foot pads to tear and fall off so he's in a lot of pain walking around on hard flooring. The socks are definitely helping him walk. They get a lot of compliments from everyone for their cute design and they definitely help with the grip on the slippery floors.

They're Cute
I like them, my dog however does not. Non-carpeted floors have never been a strong point in her life. She runs everywhere most of the time, even as a 12 year old. She's very competitive and I have 2 other dogs bigger than her so she has to try to keep up. When she has the socks on, she has no problems. There is no spinning her wheels like a cartoon character trying to get traction and she doesn't skid or slide around corners like she's on ice with bald tires. She has great traction. They do work great, my dog just rips them off when I am not looking. I can't keep them on her if I am not in her eye sight. They stay on fine if I am there in the same area as her. So they are great socks, I just need to find a way to be able to secure them better so she cant pull them off.
