Good sock
These socks work nice for my Golden. She is older and tends to slip on floor when getting up and running. I wanted to buy something that she can wear in and out of the house. Then at night we put regular no slip socks on her. The one thing I would LOVE is for this company to do is add a snap with velcro. Right now I used velcro from another dog sock to wrap around these. With velcro, the socks stay on my dog's paws, without they tend to come off after awhile. I want to leave sock on her paws all day yo keep her from slipping. I may get an extra pair so when these are being cleaned or drying she will have another pair. Luckily she us used to wearing no slip socks so these were easy to get used to.

Good, with a little help
Bought these for my 14yo husky who drags his hind legs a fair amount and one of them turns out as he walks. We have had below zero temps and he kept falling after about 60 seconds of standing on cold snow. I have read that many dogs do not like boots because they can't feel the ground, so I wanted to try something that would allow this. It took a few treats to get them on, but once on he completely ignored them and moved as usual. They provided plenty of traction in snow (though he did slip a bit on the foot that turns out because he was actually walking partially on the sock itself). These are tight to put on (and with a disabled dog like mine, he needed to be laying down in order to get it on); you really have to stretch the sock part out as you go over the paw, but they also wouldn't be as effective if they didn't fit so snugly. I first put one on and within a minute or so it had slipped down on the foot that turns out. I tried again, and used some of the grippy/stretchy self-adhering bandage wrap (can be purchased in your local pharmacy but they also usually carry this at pet stores) and wrapped it around tightly (but not too tightly) a couple times just below the cuff. Secured the socks perfectly! We've been out twice now and they've not slipped off and the cold hasn't been an issue. These serve their intended purpose fairly well, but it would be nice to see a couple improvements: 1. they might stay on a bit better without the need for additional wrap if they were an inch or two taller. 2. it would be helpful it the grippy area came up just a bit higher for those with longer narrow feet. 3. would be nice if there was another model with a wider leg and velcro straps (to cut down on time putting them on).Definitely worth trying, but measure carefully. I ordered M and L to try - the L width (2.5") was right on for sizing, but it's borderline too short in length, and wish I'd ordered an XL to try.

Good Quality but didn’t fit
This was a well made product but didn’t fit my dog even though we followed the size chart. Runs large.

The only thing that works for my pup.
I must have tried dozens of pairs of boots for my dogs over the last five and a half years before I landed on PAWKS. This is the only product that has worked for my dog. They aren't super warm for our northern temperatures, but warm enough for her to be able to walk. They also, of course, protect from salt and sand, but I worry less about that than the cold. Unfortunately, the "boots" get stiff aand tight from the salt after one or two wears so you have to have a lot of them and do a lot of laundry. Because they are knit, they catch a lot of nails; the fibers loosen and then catch more nails so you have to be careful putting them on, especially with the dew claws. They also get worn down or worn out easily over the season and need to be repalced often. That's if you don't lose them to the snow or whatever else. I have lost three so far this year. The I have tried three different sizes with my dog over the years (she's fully grown at 20 pounds). Sometimes medium seems to fit best and sometimes large. If I go large, they are oversized, but stay on better sometimes - it all depends on her haircut and the saltiness and so forth. I have another smaller dog - a chiweenie - and these have never worked for her. The smallest sizes don't have the rubber needed for winter. I would love if I could she could eventually wear some - and also if they went higher up the leg. Highly recommended, in any case, if no other boots have worked for you. I find they are easiest to put on when she is on my lap leaning against me - her back to my front.

Good product!
I tried over a dozen different options for helping my dog to walk. These are the ones that I ended up using. I tried a smaller size and they were too short. These are still a little too big and turn on him frequently, but the full rubber sole allows him to still walk in them. I also like that I can just wipe off the bottom of them if he steps in something.

Good quality, but design needs some work.
These are well constructed - the knitting is solid and the rubber coating goes all the way around so it won't matter if the socks rotate, which they will - but the overall design needs a rethink and they really do run small as others have warned.Knowing they run small I bought the XL size because my mutt's paws are 2" wide. Hilarity ensued when I tried to actually put them on her, though; despite being 2 sizes larger than recommended there was no way I could stretch them enough to get past the dew claws. And that brings me to why I think these need a redesign: dogs really hate things on their paws, so one essential requirement for a sock is that you have to be able to get it onto a paw quickly otherwise the dog is going fight you by jiggling each leg like an epileptic having a grand mal seizure (at least mine did). I think what would work better is to split the "leg" portion of the sock and use a velcro strap to join each side. The "foot" part - ie, the part dipped in rubber or PVC or whatever - should remain as it is now. Then you could pop the paw into the foot part of the sock then cinch down the velcro across the leg and skip all the misery of trying to slip a knitted fabric over a pointy dew claw.I'd also be willing to pay a few more bucks for a better (read: usable) designed product; as of now, they are totally unusable so I returned them.

Comfortable and durable. A well made product.
They were the only sock with a good strong grippy sole that I could get in a small enough size. My Jack Russell has very small feet and gets sore toes. These stayed on pretty well but to be sure I also put a little medical tape around the top. She got used to them pretty quickly as they are not bulky and comfortable. Thoroughly recommend.

Great product!! I recommend them to everyone.
Fantastic. Changed my 13-year old dog's life. He wears these all the time except on walks outside (I take them off overnight). He was afraid to walk on our slippery floors inside because he would slip and hurt his arthritic hips. Now he walks without fear and can go longer on our outdoor walks because he is not hurting himself inside. Moisture doesn't build up too badly inside the sock which is fantastic. I highly recommend these. I've had them for a month and they are holding up. He uses them inside and in the back yard. They only come off for our longer walks, but really I should be taking them off nightly. I hope they hold up in the winter and that they don't fall off on the snow!! So far, they stay up perfectly!! He is wearing a size medium and he is a 50 lb standard poodle. I might try a large next time as these looked a little small but he seems comfortable in them and I'm worried that if I go up in size they might then slip off? I don't know. Oh, I'm a veterinarian of that gives my endorsement more weight.

Great Product!
I've purchased this product before, so I knew what I was getting, but this is the first time I've purchased it from Amazon.ca. I usually purchase a pack of small and x-small because of the sizes difference between the front and back paws.I really like this product, I use the socks to protect my dogs paws from the harsh winter elements and the salt. During the walk, I have to stop periodically to pull the socks up because the constant movement of the paws causes the socks to slide down. RC Pet Products Sport Pawks Dog Socks, X-Small, Charcoal Heather To prevent this problem, I purchase a pack of Etopars™ 10 X Self Adhesive Cohesive Wrap Bandages Strong Elastic First Aid Tape Black for Wrist Ankle Sport 2" X 5 Yards. Etopars™ 10 X Self Adhesive Cohesive Wrap Bandages Strong Elastic First Aid Tape Black for Wrist Ankle Sport 2" X 5 Yards With the socks on, I began with cutting the bandages to the length that I needed. Leaving 1/3 to 2/3 of the base of the sock exposed (depending on the size of your dog's paws) I wrapped the bandages tightly around each sock as if I were wrapping a bandage around a paw. I would definitely purchase both of these products again as well as recommend them. Enjoy! : ) RC Pet Products Sport Pawks Dog Socks, X-Small, Charcoal HeatherEtopars™ 10 X Self Adhesive Cohesive Wrap Bandages Strong Elastic First Aid Tape Black for Wrist Ankle Sport 2" X 5 Yards

No son para deporte. Duraron 20 mins.
