Much better than traditional putty.
This is an absolutely brilliant product, very easy to use. Much better than traditional putty.

Great stuff
I’ve used this a few times and it works well. Much easier to handle than traditional linseed putty. You can smooth off with a wetted finger similar to acrylic caulks. No issues with overpainting before, and can be done much quicker than putty.

Give it time!
No doubt this does the job, however it's not too pliable when applying for example, to a wooden window frame where you want to be able to spread more easily. Also be aware it does take a long time to set properly so patience is required before painting.

Nice stuff
Use on national trust houses to repair windows before painting, easy to use and quick drying over night. Would recommend

I've made some mistakes in my life...
... but choosing this product was one of the biggest.I spent DAYS meticulously refurbishing a pair of window sashes, using about 4 tubes of this stuff to install 9 panes of glass. I left it to set in a warm house for over a week and it all seemed good so far. 3 coats of Zinsser Allcoat paint later, the windows looked great, so I reinstalled them, complete with all the beads perfectly cut and nail holes filled, painted the inside of the frame and reinstalled the secondary glazing.Fast forward about 3-4 weeks to the first serious rain for a while and to my absolute horror, I noticed that there was water between the glass and the putty on the outside. The putty had gone like sponge and basically peeled away from the glass along bottoms of all the panes.I've just spent HOURS cutting all this stuff out (for it has stuck well to the wood - shame about the glass), ready to prime and redo with Toupret Glazing Putty. All the prep was done properly, the glass was cleaned with alcohol to remove grease prior to applying the putty and it's still failed. I contacted Evo-Stik Technical Support for an explanation, but I've heard nothing.AVOID THIS STUFF AT ALL COSTS!
