False Advertising! Beware of Bait and Switch!!!
I have never written a review for any products here on Amazon but I felt so angry about this product that I felt I had to write my opinions and to make sure that everyone who purchases this product sees this before purchasing.First, let me start by saying that the support team and support for this product is non-existent so if you ever have any issues. Good luck, you are on your own.So please note that there are two apps for this camera. 1) Tosee and 2) Tosee PlusWhen you consult the instructions manual, the manual tells you to install Tosee and create account, follow instructions and off you go. Simple enough. Ok so I install Tosee and it has a 2.7 star rating on Google Play Store so that can't be good. Regardless, let's push through and see what happens. Load up the app, it doesn't tell you to create an account, simply just loads you into the app. Alright, that's strange. Not going to question it but anyways let's proceed. Add device and follow with the instructions. Instructions are pretty simple. Reset camera, sync the camera with the phone by joining it's network then join your own WiFi network. This is where the frustrating part comes in. No matter what you do it will continue to give you the same error "Failure to add device. Reboot device. Please try again".I am quite tech-savvy. I have literally rebooted the camera 100+ times and tried different scenarios that might work over the next 2-3 days. No Wifi password, only number, only words. Nothing. I get that same error "Failure to add device. Reboot device. Please try again". That message continues to haunt my to this day. I tried everything. My iPad, my Android phone. My girlfriend's iPhone. Nothing. No matter what device I use or OS, it doesn't work no matter what.I was about to give up and just return this retarded camera when I stumbled across a comment in one of their other products about Tosee Plus. Turns out there is another app that it might be compatible with. The app is rated 2.3, even worse. So I wasn't holding my breath. But I thought, what do I have to lose. Might as well try. When I install the app, it tells you to sign in so this app so you actually need an account. I'm thinking to myself, this is probably the app the developers were referring to. Just terrible instructions. Anyways, I create an account and pretty much syncing up the camera is still the exact same. But this time it WORKS. First time and first try, it syncs up perfectly. OMG hallelujah! After everything is up and running perfectly and all seems well. Camera is decent but there are a couple of issues with the motion detection.1) The camera has a terrible motion detector. There are 3 settings you can choose low, medium or high. When you select low or medium, the motion detection doesn't pick up anything and when it is on high, it will pick up a lot of false positives so it will end up loading up a lot of video onto the drive.2) The detection has a hard time activating quick enough (even when on high). If you are someone who installs a camera to see packages and/or see them get stolen. You will still have the issues with a lot of doorbell cameras where people stealing your packages or dropping them off, you will only see their back as the camera will be too slow to catch them. This happens with many doorbell cameras including Ring so be aware of this.Anyways, I can live with ALL of the stuff above (ALL OF IT) but the thing the killing blow that comes from this camera is the false advertising of cloud service. It is not actually FREE cloud service like stated in the listing or title. They only give you a TRIAL of 7 days of cloud service. After the 7 days, you are required to subscribe. This is what the listing says verbatim "Cloud Storage & 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed: Wifi doorbell comes with 30-day free cloud storage service and a 16GB TF card to review, customize, download or share video. Meanwhile we do provide 12 month warranty and life time technical support. Please feel free to contact with us, if have any questions"There also is a very annoying part of all this. In the settings of the camera you can choose to save to a SD card (which they include) or onto the cloud. If you select the SD card, it doesn't even save to the SD card, it will ALWAYS save onto the cloud no matter what and even if you leave it on the SD card setting. Making the SD card slot and setting absolutely useless for this camera. Essentially, another bait and switch. So now that we have established that you have to subscribe and you were scammed. Let's go by cost comparison, this doorbell camera's cheapest option is 7 days past for 3.99 a month. No bulk discount for annual subscription. Compare this to Ring costs $3 per month or $30 annually and you get 60 days of past events. You can see that even if you wanted to subscribe to this terrible camera service, you get more bang for your buck with Ring. The only saving grace for this camera is that it is about $30 cheaper than a Ring camera ($70 vs $100) so for a year subscription with this camera would cost $118 while a Ring Camera will cost you $130. You essentially save $12 which as you can see is why I am so angry. This company false advertises that you get free cloud storage when in reality that you don't. This is the killing blow for me and the reason I even wrote this review. If this review saves even one person from not falling victim to this company's bait and switch, I would be happy. I say avoid this camera. Yes Ring has it's flaws but this camera has these flaws as well too but Ring has someone competent support where as support from this camera is completely non-existent.In conclusion, I purchased 4 of these cause I have multiple investment properties and I realized I was duped so as I mentioned before, if this review saves one person from getting duped like me, I'll be happy.BEWARE STAY AWAY FROM THIS CAMERA. YOU WILL GET A BAIT AND SWITCH!

Do NOT buy
I bought this because of the good reviews but returned it the next day. Lets start with the tool kit it comes with, the tool in there is the wrong tool...you can not use it on any part of the camera. The screws for the mount are cheap and stripped very easily. The batteries can be charged via cable that is NOT included so you have to go out and figure out which cable to buy for it. The app is also partially in English partially in Chinese and there is no way to change it.When I messaged them about my concerns the response I got was "Actually our doorbell can be charged by cable directly, there do have detailed description in the manual. If you want our guidance. we will be more than pleased. " I know the doorbell can be charged with a cable and I know how to read the instructions, HOWEVER there is NO cable.Do not waste your time or money on this knock off cheap doorbell.

Replacement security camera
I have no idea wireless door bell is for until couple news about package stolen on TV to show how amazing this new tech it is. I thought live video would be delay as my friend told me, but I think i6 –XR was just 4 year and gains significant improve. Same as door bell. It’s not famous brand but half price same function. I turn on high sensor, any object close my door would start to record. It shows battery life and two way speaker that I can talk to act as someone at home. it also show % when charging on the app I think take about 8hr to full by DC overnite. As manual said 6 month each time to charge, mine is 80% after 2 wks cus I turn on record & high sensor. I am fine compared install security camera that worry theft would cut wire or pay $500 to have RING. I am considering buying one more at my mom house. Its not camera my mom still have privacy and she can simply push doorbell to find me anytime then turn on facetime to talk.

Buyer beware
The plastic mounting plate on this product is not sturdy. You need to make sure it's completely straight and not to put much pressure on it or the plastic tabs will break off. Also, there are two apps with nearly the same name and the names are mislabeled, so you may need to download both to identify the correct one. If you don't already know how to use a video doorbell, I did not, this is probably not the doorbell for you. The directions are not intuitive, and not written by someone well versed in English. It's not complicated if you know what you're doing, but if you've never installed one before, it isn't easy. This might be a good second or third doorbell if you have multiple entrances. I had to return it and got a ring. Once I read the directions on the ring, which were clear and complete, I had no trouble setting it up. I do want to say that I like the card being in the bell better than the cloud storage, but it just didn't work as advertised for me.

Good one.
Have it for many days now and I have no issues pretty easy to install and can install on multiple devices , With a motion-activated camera, two-way audio and brilliant HD video, you can hear, and speak picture is crystal clear the motion sensor works good a little sensitive overall a great purchase no regrets.
