I ordered this product because the hospital gastrologist suggested that I take a permanent small dose of laxatives. I preferred to try to eat more fibre, but I am not a fan of leafy green vegetables. I hoped that a combination of fruit, legumes and supplementary fibre might do the trick and psyllium hasks are less costly than Fybogel. I don't think I need the full 14mg dose, administered in the form of 2 capsules, every day and I am still experimenting with how many capsules a week to take, but so far they seem to work well and have no unpleasant side effects;

I have just received these capsules. Bluntly, I should have read the description more carefully. I was looking for a high strength capsule and saw the figure 1400mg. This is not the capsule strength. The recommended serving is two capsules and this is the dosage strength. That is, each capsule is only 700mg. I think the product description is misleading. I was in a rush when I ordered and overlooked the word 'serving' and just assumed it meant capsule.Had I realised this I would have chosen another product.
