I wanted a hud for my bmw 135i that was similar to the factory one that is in the 2015 Bmw F80 M3. There were many types available on amazon which had a lot of features, but I only wanted a simple hud that displayed only what I needed which was speed and rpms. This one can display water temp and voltage also if so desired.Pros:1. Easy to Install2. Very affordable and worth every penny3. Able to display speed, rpms, voltage and water temp4. Windshield film was provided but not needed. Unit has an auto brightness function which works perfectly to display the image on your windshield.5. 12 month return policy.Cons:1. Cable length would have been better about one to two inches longer.2. Double sided tape was included but I found that heavy duty velcro was a better mounting solution for me.3. It was a little difficult trying to change the options since you have to hold the scroll wheel down while turning on, then having to push in scroll wheel to save changes.I'm glad I purchased this hud for my car. It has everything that I need at an affordable price. I am not sure how it will react to extreme temperatures, but so far it has been performing perfectly for me. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to install a hud in their cars.

The product works great, especially for the money. However, the instructions are a bit unclear as to how you change the device's settings. To go into the settings, turn the HUD off while your cars ignition is switched on, then hold the toggle switch on the side up and turn the power on. Once it goes solid, let go of the toggle and you're in settings. As for issues I've had, there's only been one as of recently where it turned itself off while driving, so I just unplugged it and plugged it back in and it works just fine. This could also be an unknown issue with my BMW's OBD 2 port, and not the fault of the product. As it stands, this is a great product for the money, with a simple display that does exactly what I needed, and is a great way to spice up your car.

I chose this unit for its simplicity, but the right amount of information on the unit itself. I didn’t want my windshield lit up with a carnival display of colors, bars, graphs and any other headache inducing pizazz. It came down to this unit and a unit and a unit that returned only numerical data. I guess a little pizazz swayed me with the RPM bar.There’s more bang for the buck and we’ll worth the investment.As for Coby strikes again, I won’t repeat his review, but you would come out ahead to read it and head it. The instructions from the manual are that unclear. It took me 3 hours from install to completed setup. Fifteen minutes to install and the remainder of the time cussing at the manual and trying to setup the unit. After reading Coby’s review, it was then a breeze.

Are you ever driving through a school zone and there's so much going on that you don't want to look down at the speedo to see if you're actually doing 15 MPH? Or you're using adaptive speed control in a line of traffic and are curious whether you're incrementally slowing up? I wanted this to display in my peripheral vision and not straight ahead where it would be a distraction. Just enough cord included to run from the OBD II port to the middle of the dash where the display is excellent. Displayed accurately in MPH right out of the box. Double image, but that's okay. Great buy.

I just want to show these pictures to show what you will be expecting. If your setting is Celsius, you will not have problem temp display. But if you choose Fahrenheit, there isn’t any indication of that and if your car is like mine(Mini Cooper), your temperature will only show with 2 digits. My car runs around 217 to 228 degrees Fahrenheit so it shows 17 to 28 like one of the pictures show 26. Other than that I like this display. I wanted this for temp gauge since my car doesn’t have one.

I do like this device and it was fairly easy to install. I wish it was brighter during daylight but other than that I am very pleased.

It's only been a few days since I've had the product. So far it's working as advertised. The instructions need a lot of work as they are not clear at all on how to set the functions. However, one can figure the fundamental settings out with a small amount of trial and error. Update: Its been a year and a few months. Unfortunately the accuracy of the speedo function has gotten progressively worse. Its now reading 5 mph faster than the vehicle is traveling. Resetting and powering off and on does not help. It was good while it lasted. I'm removing the device.

Overall it is an amazing product. The only downfall I have experienced with it is that it is off by about 2-5 MPH and does not give an accurate speed.
