When they put their name on the product it means something. COOSPIDER
I purchased my first Coospider UVC lamp (w/ozone) 1-1/2 years ago for $16 and it is still working. Of course the usage has gone up since the virus. I bought it to remove the dog odors from my room and it worked great (w/ozone). Now the prices have gone up 3 fold just because of demand I'm sure. I bought a generic one and it failed after maybe 72 hours of use. Coospider has put their name on their product and states an 8000 hour warranty that's about a year of 24 hours a day use. I recommend using a fine tip sharpie and putting the date you received it on the base just in case it fails. I just ordered a second (no ozone) one a few minutes ago. I put one at the bottom of the stairs. I have roommates upstairs so I'm hoping this will be a virus curtain to keep anything they drag home away from me. And I already bought a second (W/ozone) because I loaned the first one to my chiropractor and he won't give it back. Get an off delay timer to use with the ozone model as you don't want to enter the room until the ozone has cleared (bad for living things) like this one BN-LINK [2020 New Version] Smart Digital Countdown Timer with Repeat Function.

Works well, no need to buy base, screws into a regular lamp base.
Purchased prior to virus outbreak this year for a mold problem from leaking roof. Easy to use in my large home. You can smell the UVC worked so it is easy to feel confident bacteria is killed. I now use it to disinfect the heaviest use rooms. Make sure you have the yellow UV wrap around protective glasses to keep your eyes from injury. (Mine were previously purchased for use at a rifle range & outdoor construction.) No need to buy a base. Use a table lamp turned on with extension cord in separate room. Close door, then plug safely into an outlet in the other room you are that is not being cleaned. Unplug when time is up.

Do NOT look at bulb! Will burn your eyes and you won't know it till the next day when your eyes are swollen shut.

Outstanding Customer Service
Lamp itself does the job. Don’t look at it without eye protection and don’t expose your skin to it. There is an Ozone smell. It did stop working after a while. The reason for 5 star review is because the customer service is outstanding! Shu Wen responded to my email within 10 mins and sent a follow up email the next day explaining in detail when I will get a replacement. It’s all about how you treat your customers!

BUY COSPIDER BULBS
Coospider UVC bulbs are what they say they are. If you should run into a problem, they are quick to fix it. I bought another brand of supposed UVC bulbs and they were not UVC. They lit up ok but did not show to be UVC when I tested them with a test strip. On the other hand when I tested the Coospider bulbs they tested to actually be UVC. Of course, be sure you order UVC Coospider bulbs for helping get rid of bugs if that is what you want.

Excellent product! You can even install it in your HVAC if you buy a base and make a bracket
Yes! Other sellers are selling 18W or 20W siniliar lamp+ballast assemblies for $65. You can also spend $100 for a different type that is more energy efficient, but has the same price break point after a year when bulb replacement is necessary. You guys offer a 25W lamp, with ballast and Edison screw base, option for ozone, and it's only $15! That's amazing! I can make my own bracket and install the UVC lamp in my hvac ductwork. Saves me lots of money, so I think I'll use two instead, one for the coil, one for the ducts. Edison screw bases are cheap and easy to wire to even for a novice. ...just got the light..wow! It works! I was at first concerned about the smell after an hour of room disinfection, then I read a scientific paper detailing the scent after UV disenfection (no worries now, excellent product!)

Debatable quality
I have used this bulb to try to make mold on a small patch in my basement go dormant. On multiple occasions I have ran the bulb via remotely controlled switch (so I can be out of the room while it's on) for 15 minute intervals and I've seen no effect on the mold spot. And the ozone smell is very heavy in the room even after just 15 minute sessions. I had to ventilate after each use to dissipate the ozone. I don't expect all mold to be completely dead or gone... but honestly after treating the area 3 times I don't really see any difference at all.

this is a REAL uv-c bulb
i used this when my parents got covid, they went out on our enclosed porch while i ran this light in each room for a few minutes. when i entered the room after venting it you could still smell the ozone. i had a blanket that got wet start to smell, even after washing, so i spread it out on the floor and ran this light for a few minutes on both sides and it killed whatever was making it stink. remember to keep everyone and pets out of the room that this is in.
