I have now bought a few of these different embossed rolling pins for gifts. Just adorable!

Perfect for what I needed it for! Instead of using for cookies I used it for some air dry clay pieces!

The pin is very durable and sturdy, something you can had down for generations. When rolling it made a clean, nice impression in the dough, nothing stuck or remained in the design. My only complaint is within the instructions on preparing it for the first time. The instructions tell you to soak it in water for several hours and then use a cooking oil to season it. First off, soaking wood for long periods of time for this application is not wise. This opens it up for warping, splitting and breaking down the wood. Second, cooking oil will turn rancid. So, don't soak the wood in water, use wood cutting board conditioner or mineral oil.

It works (kind of) If you use direct pressure putting hands on top of roller medium to heavy pressure it works fine, at least with gingerbread. Perhaps it may work better with other doughs so 3 stars.

This is so cute! The wood is nice and smooth. It’s a medium size. Some would say small, but for my purposes, I am using it for clay so for me the size great! Also included was a small-ish circle cookie cutter set and a silicone basting brush. Shipped quickly, but was delayed by Amazon in shipping, as usual lately.

I’m a frequent flyer between America and China due to business consideration. I usually buy some home and kitchen supplies for my apartment, so that it feels like I’m still at home. I hesitated for a while before placing order from this seller, cause I was kind of worried that the engraving might not work. But, I was so happy the time I opened the package. It is just fantastic! The engraving is beautiful and deep, so I have no problem to make clear patterned cookies even without too much pressure. The cookie cutters are also very useful, however I already have some much bigger. lol. It’s also very nice of the seller to prepare two special cookie recipes, I prefer the lemon sugar tea cookies. In a word, it’s one of my smart buys.

I ordered two each of which represent two family Fur Babies I liked the cute Dog & Lovely Cat Embossed Rolling Pins designs. I purchased them as fun gifts for my family members they can plan a great get together with their kids and create "impressive" very cute treats! I was very impressed when my order was delivered because each rolling pin came in its own sturdy box inside the delivery box arrived with the silicone brush cookie cutter set and cookie recipes!

The Paisley rolling pin is beautifully hand crafted and I’m very “impressed” with its quality and design. I used it on a recipe by Stella Parks in her Brave Tart book. She recommended this particular rolling pin and I trusted her judgement. I’m very happy with the rolling pin and will likely buy another one from you. It would be a lovely gift to a baker.

Very well made. The pattern is deeply etched so that it can create a lovely pattern, whether it is on cookie dough or, for my particular use - decorating clay to create my pottery.
