Frozen Junior Novelization (Disney Frozen)

I bought this for my five year old daughter, who is an advanced reader. Although she can read fluently, she is still five and enjoys looking at pictures, so up until this point, I bought books with lots of words, but still with attracting pictures. I have been seeking an opportunity to introduce chapter books to her. My daughter loves the movie Frozen, and has watched the DVD more than 10 times, so I thought this might be a good first chapter book because she already knows the story and this is written very true to the movie. I am so glad I bought this. She reads this book every night (only pictures in this book are on the cover and like 6 pages in the middle of the book). Words that characters speak are almost exact same as what's in the movie. My daughter loves to read the lines exactly how the characters talk. If I read a line and that's different from how it's said in the movie, she corrects me. Reading 7 pages or so each night, she will finish this book in 2 weeks. I am now searching for more disney junior novelization books because it was such a great success to guide her into chapter books.

My 6 year old is an advanced reader so I got this book for her; She can read Step 4 books easily, so I figured this was a step up and it is. It is perfect. Yes there are some words that she needs help with but that's the whole point of learning to read. This book has only a few pictures in the middle of the book but not in the chapters. if you child prefers to look at pictures while reading this may not be for you. I would say 1st or 2nd grade material

this book, Frozen The junior Novelization is a great book after watching the movie at the movie theater. this book has way more details than the movie i felt bad for Anna and Elsa because they were apart for years they didn't play with each other. me and my sister are 3 years a part i am 10 and my sister is 7 .This is happy and sad story.if you are interested in buying this book you should buy it and it is one hundred percent recommended.Please order it soon!

Oh my!!! I loved the movie, and now I love the book. It was a quick read and I finished it in like 2 hours. Still, it was a very good 2 hours. If you liked frozen, you'll like this. I found one mistake in spelling, but it was minor. I am using this for a book report, and I am suggesting it to my fellow peers.

My 7 year old loved the movie and wanted this book. She loved the book. And you cannot beat the price. It was a bit challenging read for 2nd grade, so I am glad she wanted to read it. She took it to school one day, and it turns out, her friends got excited about the book, and now they read a chapter or half every day in class - their teacher is reading it to the whole class. Great value - definitely helps keep kids interested in reading.

It is Not good at punctuation. I would rather watch the movie. The books aren't that good .The Narrator doesn't do good! At all!!!

This book based on a movie is good for kids who liked the movie 'Frozen' and easy readers. It is good for 1st, 2nd, and maybe 3rd graders to read n their own. It does not have every single detail of the movie or lyrics to the songs, but is a pretty good book for the younger group of kids.

I can't put the book down the moment it arrived on our doorstep. It was delightful to read all the conversations, straight from the movie! My 7 year old has been reading it, cover to cover, role playing with all the quotes she memorised from the book. We played a game of finding in the book where Olaf first appeared in the movie, and where he said "all good things, all good things". Excellent book to encourage reading, thinking and day-dreaming!

Nothing much but I loved it so much that I watched the movie I hate Hans 😒 But the pictures aren't full I love the story

Wer den Film liebt wird auch dieses Buch lieben. Es ist in Englisch geschrieben und hat in der Mitte ein paar Bilder drin. Die Sprache ist gut verständlich, also für jeden lesbar. Teilweise werden die Dialoge aus dem Film wiedergegeben. Den Stern abzug gibt es für das komische Papier und die Druckertinte. Es passiert ab und zu, dass die Schrift ein bisschen verwischt.

そもそも映画のノベライズですし、物語については映画の方で評価されているでしょうから、 ここでは英語の読み物という観点から書きます。 若干、映画と場面の順番が違うところとか、セリフの違いなどがありますが、 ほぼ忠実に映画の内容をたどった作りで、セリフもそのままのものが少なくありませんので、 基本的に映画そのままの物語を文章に再現したものとして楽しめると思います。 映画とその原作というのよりもよほど近いということです。 強いて難を言えば、映画では映像で処理された背景や動きの説明が、 ときにくどくどしく感じられることでしょうか。 しかしノベライズとしての質は高く、楽しめる「小説」になっていると思います。 英語のレベルについて言うと、 字が大きく読みやすいですし、見た目に難しい単語は多くありませんが、 一般的に見て、必ずしも簡単とは言えないと思います。 英検で言えば準二級相当ぐらいでしょうか。 もともとアメリカで9から12歳向けを想定しているわけですが、 その年齢の日本の子供（小学校4年から6年）が実はどれほど日本語が達者か、 と考えるとわかりやすいでしょうか。 もちろんすんなりわかる表現もたくさんあるはずなので、 それほど英語に慣れていない読者でも、 映画を見たあとで、筋をたどりながら英語に楽しく接することはできると思います。 その点、映画のスチル写真が数ページあるのもいいですね。 映画を見た時にも感じましたが、内容的には古い時代のファンタジーでも、 使われている英語、とくにアナ、クリストフ、オラフらのセリフは、 生きのいい現代の若者の言葉が少なくないと思います。 それが楽しくもありますが、同時にその分難しくなることもあります。 単語は知っていても熟語表現で別の意味だったり、特別な決まり文句だったりするためです。 それでも映画の場面を参考にすると何となくわかる場合も多いので、 あまり勉強と思わずに楽しんで読むのがいいかもしれません。
