These drill bits will drill through anything!

drill through wood fast, but will dull if you hit a metal or nail about 3 times. It can be re-sharpened with a sharpener, but it will cost you time. I reconment a more expensive Colbalt drill bit.

I used these for the first time today. I had to drill through 4 in. of material with a small drill. The smallest bit felt a little too flimsy, so I used the next size up. I doubt I'll use these very often, but for the price, they're a nice addition to my tool box.

When I received these drill bits, I could tell how absolutely cheap they were. The biggest tell is that these bits were bending/flexible and drill bits are NOT supposed to bend at all and I'll explain why.I bought these because I needed to drill a hole through a 4x4 fence post. My first drill through, because these are so cheap and flexible, as the drill bit exited the other end of the 4x4, the bit began to spin/fan out like a piece of string and it snapped. Literally first use.I've learned my lesson that I shouldn't cheap out on drill bits but I was really not expecting this level of cheap quality.Stay away!

I attached a piece of tape for a stop-indicator then used these to drill holes in softwood 2x4s, worked great.
