Comes in a 3 pack and cleans the water well. I had to add this to one of my turtle tank to help more cleaning and filtering the water. Small enough to fit in my tank and help removes the smell . Good quality and you can reclean it for a second time usage to get value for your money. I do recommend this if you have a small tank that needs a small filter to clean the water for your aquarium.

Keeps my tank crystal clear

My husband decided to throw a wood log in the turtle tank so he can float on it - plan failed obv. But it colored the water into a muddy brown hue and i was looking up how to fix that and came across these. They did work. The water cleared up, however turned a more greenish clear hue, and not sure how to remove that besides a full water change. Also our turtle became very curious and started trying to eat the satchels (they didn't fit in our filter so we had to hang them off a little baggy with the water stream pointed at them but turtle kept ripping the bag and trying to eat them so now figuring out whatelse can be done.

Have always bought fluval products for my fluval filter for my turtle 55gal aquarium.

I use this in my Fluval canisters on multiple tanks, as an experiment I did a filter media rinse then added fresh carbon ( and Purigen) - and my measurements improved right away - this was prior to doing my weekly 20% water change. I usually do a rinse of the canister media every 6-8 weeks ( I don’t run a large fish load on any of my tanks) and at that point add new carbon pads and Purigen sachets. Going on four years and it’s working great.
