This is the best case ever for my lowly Galaxy S8. The front of the case is very user friendly and the back part of the case will let me charge my phone on the wireless charger without taking my phone out of the case. It's very sturdy yet flexible. I feel very confidant that my phone is very safe in this case. Great Buy!

I tried a bunch of other protectors for my S8, which mind you as old as the phone is they are hard to come by. A lot and I do mean a lot suck...so much. They send you a piece of cellophane with a sticky side that more often than not sticks to everything BUT the phone. Some don't fit with the back protector some just don't stick to the phone.This is just a shell and it protected my phone from my daughter who used my keys on it, drew on it, colored it, dropped it and got her little toddler gooey hands all over it.The case did protect it from a quick drop in the sink while I was shaving, and this is where I can't give it 5/5 perfect. TECHNICALLY it's waterproof BUT water will get under the screen which is annoying but easy to clean.The ports are covered with plugs which is also something I'm not thrilled about as if you have a USB-c cord that's has a bit too much plastic around the end, say like a Nintendo switch plug, it doesn't have enough clearance to connect properly.YET those are minor things when you can just clean the screen, put the phone in the front shell, put the front shell into the back shell and DONE.Not needing to be in a dust-free room to use an alcohol wipe and god forbid you have a pet, that has HAIR! So lock yourself in a bathroom with a hot shower running and that if IF the screen protector doesn't stick to itself or have bubbles in it when you put it on or warp or not even cover the entire screen.It makes the shortcomings, while minor, really just not a problem at all.

I spent months trying to find a screen protector for the curved edge Galaxy s8 I bought. Tried probably 5 brands. No matter which brand, and no matter what the reviews, none of them would stay on my phone for more than a week.My goto phone case for every Galaxy phone I've owned was otterbox, with built in screen protector. They don't make one for the edge screens.I was at a loss. I had no idea what to do. I couldn't keep buying a new glass screen protector every 2 weeks or so, and I don't like going without...One day I came across this item here on Amazon. I decided to give it a try. I actually purchased both this case, and a similar waterproof case I found. Tried them both. Both were good solutions, however this one was leaps and bounds better.Not only does this one look great on my phone, but it's functionality is flawless. The touchscreen sensitivity is not at all affected by it. All areas of the screen work exactly as they do without it.I use a phone ring holder on the back to help me hang onto my phones (the older I get, the more I seem to suffer from the dropsies), and it affects my ability to use wireless chargers, but I do have a couple, and I tested them out before putting the ring holder on. The case does not affect the wireless charging either.Now, the important part... protection from drops... Sadly, while I rarely ever drop my phone (because my finger is through the ring holder), it does happen... In fact I dropped mine 2 days in a row. Once inside Target, I dropped it about 4 feet to the hard floor below. It slammed down hard, right on the corner. There's no way the screen/glass back survived... I picked it up, and it was unbroken!The next day I was looking at my phone as I walked to the bathroom at home to relieve myself. As I stepped up to the toilet, I went to put my phone into my hoodie pocket. It slipped, and fell towards the open bowl/watery grave below. I reacted quickly and grabbed for/swatted at the phone as it fell. I figured if I wasnt able to catch it, at least I could swat it aside, missing the toilet, and onto the floor...It worked! However, while it did miss hitting the water, it bounced off of the edge of the toilet, slammed into the wall beside it, and fell to the floor.Again, there is no way the glass survived... I picked it up, and yet again, it was unbroken.I've been happily using (and abusing) this case for around 5 or 6 months now, and it has withstood everything I've thrown at it. Simply put, this thing is amazing! I'd recommend this to anyone still using an S8.

Love this phone case. I got it for my old phone that I let my 1 yr old watch Mickey Mouse on. I know it is sturdy because when he is done watching he throws the phone and it has not received any further damage. I was cautious because the screen is cracked, but with the built in screen protector I am not concerned at all! It also does not mess with the functionality of the screen at all! He also uses it as a chew toy but since there are covers for the charging and headphone ports I dont have to worry about them getting messed up. It is so easy for him to hold and he loves it. The fingerprint reader still works great and since the case does not cover the camera it provides a nice incline to its location on the back. I did not check to see if it is able to wireless charge as I immediately put on a popsocket. Overall this is a great case that has so far survived a toddler!!
