Exactly as expected
I've been working out for years at the gym, and this is my first home gym setup. The current user submitted pictures don't seem to reflect the current model, so I attached my own pictures.I ordered the power rack with lat pull attachment and bench included. The entire set arrived in three large, heavy boxes. The bench had its own box and the rack had two. Thick carboard, no dents, no scratches that I can't easily ignore. Everything was individually wrapped in plastic sleeves and nicely secured with zip-ties, and the bolts were in a separate box. Nothing was missing.Assembly took a long time (3-4 hours by myself--but I just had an appendectomy and I wasn't rushing it). The instructions were fine for me, though if you're looking for words then you'll get very few. It's just pictures and numbers, but taking the time to sit down and look at it is all you need for a successful assembly. The kit came with the tools needed to assemble everything (included two basic wrenches with notches for the various bolt sizes). However, I recommend grabbing at least one socket wrench to save yourself a lot of time, pain, and effort. The bench's bolts take sockets size 19, 17, and 14 metric, and the power rack takes socket size 17 metric.Everything can be assembled with just one person. The two top bars may be difficult to bolt on without two people unless you pre-assemble the top assembly and then pop it into the four pillars. The only gripe I have with the parts are the fasteners (the bolts). They really could have labeled the bags containing the bolts so that it's easy to match them with their number in the diagrams. So just be careful and match up the numbers to the fasteners before you start putting stuff together. The bench is great. It has firm padding and it's wide enough to support the shoulders. The various incline and decline options work as expected. I wasn't too happy spending so much on a bench (it's only slightly cheaper bundled than by itself), but it's solid and I expect it'll last me years with proper care. Mine wasn't branded like the picture, but that just made me like it more.I don't have much of an opinion on the lat pull down attachment. It works, and there's no leg bar to hold you down so you'll have to look for a solution yourself. I already knew about this while ordering it, so I'm not taking off a star. I am a little disappointed in the 2" adapters for the 1" bars that hold the resisting weight for the lat attachment. They are sturdy, but you have to use a mini 1" clamp to hold the 2" adapters in place, on top of a regular 2" clamp to hold the plates in place as well, for each side. So to change weights you have to mess with four clamps. I'll probably just perma-clamp it using a low profile hose clamp or something. The rack is great and exactly as pictured. It's sturdy enough. Not much more to be said about it. The dip attachments end up with the handles a bit far apart, which will wreak havoc on your shoulders to use so I don't really recommend using them unless you have very wide shoulders. The plate holders (the 1" bars on the sides that hold plates) are indeed just 1", and I only want to use 2" plates. Fortunately, the rack uses the common 2x2" square frame with 1" holes, so there are lots of accessories available online including 2" plate holders.I mostly purchased this to save myself a few extra hundred dollars if ordering other brands or with individual components, and I'm largely satisfied while being able to spend those savings on more weights :)I wrote this review just after assembling it. If I find issues as I add more weights and accessories, I'll come back and change this review. Otherwise you can assume it's still a 5-star experience.

Did not think I was going to love it as much as I do
Did not think I was going to love it as much as I do. Cable attachment took some work to get used to, but mainly because of the room it's in, making it awkward to access the weight pegs.I do wish there was a way to secure it to the ground though, not not enough of an issue to remove even half a star. Have done 300lbs rack pulls, 400lbs squats...holding up great! Literally zero complaints.Did ship without the rope attachment, but told customer service and sent one over pretty quickly, so again, not an issue at all. 7/5 stars all around!

Good investment for body
I and my husband keep going to the gym in our university every day for three years. However, we moved to a big city recently. I did the research about the gym on market near us. The price is much higher and canceling the membership is always a headache thing. What important is that we are really tired of driving to gyms after work every day...In fact, we have given up working out over three months. I caught up like 8 pounds and belly fat shows up! So awful and I can't bear with this anymore!! I made this decision to set up a home gym! Now, We get back to work out so easily. I think this power rack is a good choice for several reasons: It has multiple functions, we can exercise our chest, back, and arm with it. Besides this rack, I purchased some other tools I need for my routines, an Olympic bar of 6 feet, weight bench and plates. For home, I think all of these are enough. It is easy to install and we just spend two hours. But it is heavy so put a mat can protect your hardwood floor. Besides, The power rack is very solid, I notice some bars are made of solid steel, not just a tube. My husband likes to begin a day with some pull-up, this higher outer bar is very suitable. This is a good one you can find for the similar price point. It not as perfect as the ones you saw in a gym. But it is enough, affordable and saves room. My favorite reason is that it brings fitness as easy as watching TV at our house. The service is nice too! I don't notice this power rack will come in two packages but there is only one tracing number inputted, so I thought there might be some parts missing and contact Amazon. The seller solves my problem very efficiently. I think this investment is a very wise one. It really saves our time and money, keep us living in a healthy way. One little suggestion is about the maneuver. It already shows sounded detail about installation, how about adding some instruction about functions.

Very nice rack for a home gym
Very nice rack for a home gym. Went together easily and the quality of the materials seem high. Not sure how much weight the pulley system can support but it is sufficient for what I currently have. Only improvement I can think of is a number system for the rack. I picked up some mailbox numbers at the big box store so I didn't have to keep counting every time I moved the support pins/dip bars. Definitely would buy again.

Soon I'll be RIPPED!
After seeing the Hulkfit power cage that my brother got from Amazon I was impressed and wanted to order one. Unfortunately the Hulkfit one is out of stock and doesn't appear to be coming back any time soon. So, honestly, this was my second choice after looking at MANY other ones. That being said, now that I have it, it is set up, and I am using it, I am very happy with my purchase. Set up was easy and it is very sturdy and functional. I can't speak to the quality of the company's customer service because I have not needed to contact them. It came in two packages. No parts were missing, nothing was broken, and everything works as advertised. Good product, I recommend it.
