DISAPPOINTING; A FLAW IN THE FINISH AND SLIGHTLY ORANGE INSTEAD OF DEEP RED. ALSO THE EDGE BETWEEN RED AND INTERIOR COLOR IS UNEVEN. I HAD SEEN THIS IN PRICIER CATALOGS, GUESS THESE ARE A KNOCK OFF, BUT THE PRICE SHOULD HAVE WARNED ME. THEY WILL DO BUT HAVEN'T THE WOW FACTOR I HAD HOPED FOR.NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CASUAL PURCHASE....THE GOOD LUCK SYMBOL ON THE HANDLES WAS MY MESSAGE TO THE RECIPIENT.

Despite the packing being good, one mug arrived broken. I emailed the vendor who responded quickly. The replacement mug arrived shockingly fast! Great customer service. The mugs are quite nice and the handles match up well - as in the picture. These aren't fine porcelain but serviceable and with a lovely message.

these are perfect wedding presents for a couple who have some international cultural interest. The "double happiness" is the symbol for marriage.

These cups came exactly as advertised and were a perfect wedding present to my younger sister from her China-living sister.

Lovely, cheerful mugs.

The cups are a bit more orangie than they appeared in the picture but are still quite nice. I forgot, however, to inquire about the glaze used for the cups... are they safe to drink from? China doesn't have that great of a track record regarding safety measures; They make great ornaments though.
