Beeswax

I used the Furniture Clinic Clear Beeswax Polish on two wooden beams above my fireplaces, and I’m very happy with the results. The product goes on easily, and just a small amount is enough to make the wood really stand out. Even though the instructions say to use sparingly, I may have applied a bit more than recommended — there’s still plenty of product left, which I plan to use on another beam in my house. I love that it’s natural and doesn’t have any noticeable smell, which makes the process more pleasant. The finish is exactly what I expected: it brings out the natural beauty of the wood without altering its colour. Application was straightforward, and the product’s quality is obvious from the results. Nothing to dislike here — it did exactly what it said it would. Packaging was good, and delivery was quick, which was an added bonus. I’d recommend this polish to anyone wanting to treat their wood and enhance its look. It’s a simple way to protect and improve wooden surfaces while keeping a natural, elegant finish.

Arrived on time and well packaged. The wax was well sealed preventing and leaking. The tub itself is a good size and is easy to apply using a clothing and buffing into the wood. The wax does not leave the wood with a bright shine which I like, more of a Matt like appearance. The wax has been really effective in protecting my internal doors. Marked down as the wax doesn’t go a long way and has left me needing an extra tub to complete the downstairs doors

Purchased this on merit of other reviews i have just sanded and stained kitchen worktops as they were very tired and i wanted a bit of a sheen and body so i bought this not too expensive easy to use and did the job

Puts life back into sun bleached furniture. It’s so easy to use and a lot cheaper than having to have your furniture stripped and re-varnished. It’s colourless and easy to use, you just smear it on with a clean cloth and buff it so that it is penetrating the wood and replacing the goodness. Apply this from time to time so that the true effect can be seen.

Works as on the tin

I used this clear beeswax polish on an older wooden side table and a small pine cabinet. It spread easily with a soft cloth and brought out the grain without noticeably changing the colour, which was exactly what I wanted from a clear product. Once buffed, the wood had a gentle natural sheen rather than a glossy coated look. The problem was the amount of work needed to get an even result. Where I applied slightly too much, the surface stayed tacky and showed smears until I buffed it several more times. The improvement was also fairly subtle on wood that was already in reasonable condition. I liked the finished feel and the mild wax scent did not linger for long, but I would recommend using a very small amount and working in sections. It is useful for refreshing tired wood, though I did not find the result dramatic enough to justify the extra effort on every piece of furniture.

Nice wax to use, buffs up nice and shows the grain again until I light the log burner and it gets dusty. No overpowering smell. Easy to use and not sticky. Leaves the mantle looking nice

Eine wirklich gute Bienenwachspolitur, die sich einfach und gleichmäßig auftragen lässt. Das Holz nimmt die Politur sehr gut auf und wirkt danach schön gepflegt. Mit dem Ergebnis bin ich rundum zufrieden und kann das Produkt klar empfehlen.

This is my second order of this. I love it. I use it a lot. I inherited it a lot of antiques, and I’ve got a lot of stuff out of storage. There’s a lot of wood items. This has been a godsend.
