Never got it to work properly

This is not a legit home button the iPhone 8. They do not make real aftermarket home buttons that function. Repeat. This’s is only a plug for the button. It will not work!!

Did not work at all do not buy this unless you have 8 dollars to waste

As soon as I took the home button out of the bag it was packaged in, the white part of the home button came off. Possible the adhesive wasn't applied well enough. I was able to assemble what was remaining of the part, but the home button is still useless. Thank goodness for assistive touch.
