Very good cutters. They work as described. Makes easy work of cables.

I mostly do bicycle cable and cable up to 1/8" these cutters do that stuff just great, no frays nice and even. I can see them doing thicker cable up to the rated thickness.They feel well made and after all the times I have used them no dulling has occurred.I think these are a good alternative for people that don't want to spend top dollar on the much more expensive ones especially if not used on an everyday all day basis.Something too note the first pair I received was used and visibly damaged cutter end. It's unclear how that happened but it would not be the first time this has happened with Amazon fulfilled items. I just went through the normal return process and received a brand new pair very quickly without issue.

Great value for the money. Great on 5mm cable. Cuts like butter.

I like how easily they squeeze to cut, but the blade is shaped in such a way that I can't get to some of the things I want to cut or flush to an edge.

Garbage tool!! I use 1/8 stainless aircraft cable for hanging garage signs, needed to replace an old pair that’s no longer available. Bought this item not long ago & need it for a job tomorrow, all excited to use the never unboxed cutters so opened box to find a nice looking tool that came with 3 test pcs to cut; #10 stranded copper wire, 1/8” mild steel & 3/16 ss cable. First try on 3/16 cable it DID NOT CUT, just folded cable in 1/2; tried again & same thing. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!!! DO NOT BUY!! Willing to bet the P O S company won’t give my money back.

I used these cutters to install new Garage Door Cables & they cut out the old ones with ease & I used them to cut the new ones to the correct sizeHIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! VERY SHARP

Built very good. They don’t feel cheap at all. They cut great. Awesome tool!

It does the job but not as well as I expected.

If you are cutting a handful of 3mm stainless steel wires, then it will do the job and you will recover from the severe jolt as it breaks through the wire. It is also very good at getting into spaces where other cutters just wouldn't fit. However, if you want to (as I did) cut 8' x 4' sheets of 3mm stainless steel mesh, then I wouldn't use these. They are too short to provide the leverage required and the severe jolt as it breaks through the wire cannot be good for future wrist use. I am glad I have them but their use will be limited to a minimum. I now have another pair of cutters from Amazon that are cheaper and most importantly cut 3mm stainless steel mesh easily and smoothly without the jolt.
