Can this be used for natural toothpaste?

I have seen recipes for Bentonite in a natural toothpaste, I have also read that bentonite can help remove toxins from your body. I do not have any sort of recipe, but our Bentonite is all very high quality USP grade

Can this bentonite be used for making a Hydrocollator pack?

This product is not rated pure, so likely is a mixture of calcium and sodium ions, and is not rated for internal use. It is only recommended for use as a fining agent/additive in winemaking.

Do add this when I start my primary fermentation or before and wait for it to clarify?

Bentonite can be used before or after. I have done both ways. When you fill you carboy you can add bentonites and then pitch yeast. as your juice bubbles, the bentonites moves around and absorbs particles to help clarify. I have also done it after fermentation has been completed and love it better than sparkaloid. but it can be done both ways. The difference is that if you do it after fermentation wait at least two weeks before rackign and bottling. I know some packages says you can wait 7 days, but from experince I have had bottles that appeared clear and later developed sediment in the bottle. By waiting the 14 days, I dont run into that issue.
