Spigen Thin Fit for Apple Watch 44mm Case

I've purchased Spigen products in the past and they've always delivered on their quality and durability. You get what you pay for. I'm a road cyclist and decided to purchase this case after experiencing a crash several months ago while riding. My Apple Watch got scraped up on the sides pretty bad. Unfortunately, while group riding a few weeks ago, we had several riders crash, me being one of them. Again, my watch hit the pavement while we were going around 24mph and this time around, NO DAMAGE TO MY WATCH! My case got some scratches but it took the impact and saved my watch. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! I'll be purchasing another one since I hate scratches!

Was worried over some of the reviews that said this slips off or doesn't fit well. It fits my S5 perfectly and snaps on securely and easily as well - no need to remove the strap to put it on. Looks nice and provides some protection without the bulk. I have a few of these from different makers, so bulkier that the straps go through and some similar with more of a pronounced screen bezel area - those aren't bad either. This one is the best one I have found for it's minimal appearance while also providing a bit of protection around the screen without covering it with film. Great for casual every day wear and pops off easily enough if you want to dress the watch up. Update: I was going to buy another one in a new color but after reading reviews and looking at photos of 2021 purchases, it looks like this product has changed: the logo is now centered whereas mine is off to the right as you can see in photos of 2019/2020 reviews. Additionally, I have used this often since I bought it and it doesn't fall off nor has it cracked. I'm concerned that not only has the logo been moved, but something else has changed that makes the newer version more fragile. I may try an updated version, but am worried a bit.

Looks very nice, however I can see it not holding up if you like to take your cover on and off to clean. It’s pretty tight so it may break when removing

I've owned a few of these cases over the years. I love how thin they are - they protect the watch without the added bulk of other cases. However, they tend to break after a few months - I don't even think I've had one last a year. Spigen has good customer service and has sent me replacements, which is why I keep buying them. So buy this case knowing it's a good product, but if you're especially hard on your watch it won't last.

Fits really well! Snapped right on and is snug and durable. No real risk of it falling off. I like that it’s thin, rigid, but still a little flexible enough to snap it on without drama. It doesn’t have a clear cover on top, but I like that because the touchscreen is still responsive. I feel like it has enough of a bumper to protect the screen from most impacts. The side button still has a good click feel to it, and the wheel is still accessible and easy to turn. The case does not impede those actions in any way. I wish I got this when my watch was brand new before I scratched it.

Summary: a great bumper case that broke unexpectedly after 6 months of regular use. To be fair, this Thin Fit bumper installs easily and fits the 44mm Apple Watch nicely. It has a desirable, soft satin finish and barely adds to the size of the watch. When I initially ordered for $14.99, I was thinking the price was a bit steep for such a small plastic part, but when I received the Thin Fit, the quality and finish was exceptional, and I felt better about the purchase. The overall design and functionality is also great. No problem at all interfacing with the watch controls with the bumper case installed. After wearing a few months, I was further impressed that the soft finish of the bumper was resilient to scratches and daily wear. I did not subject my watch to abuse or harsh environments, but for the occasional bump against the countertop, the Thin Fit did a great job, until it just randomly broke one day after 6 months of use. There was no bump or event coinciding with the break, I just looked down and noticed the corner had cracked - exactly on the one of the mold parting lines (there are very fine tool marks in two corners of the bumper). Note: there was no damage to my watch. The warranty/return period on Amazon is only 30 days, and I could find no support for broken product at Spigen's website, so I did not start a case ticket. My take on this experience: except for it ultimately failing, the Thin Fit did a good job at protecting my watch, and for the money it lasted long enough to give another try, so I reordered another. If it fails again in 6 months, I'll try a competitor's product. If it lasts for 9 or 12 months, I'll probably just order a couple more so I have a reserve. The most frustrating part about this experience was having an unprotected watch when the replacement was on the way.

I bought this to replace a similar item with a built in screen protector, as I prefer to be able to interact directly with the Apple Watch screen. This case doesn't have a screen protector built in and for me this is a good thing. The case is low profile, made of a soft touch material and seems durable - I haven't broken it yet! Most importantly, it protects the watch from accidental dings and scratches. The side button protector is hinged at the bottom, so it works best to press it at the top (the end closest to the crown). This isn't an issue for me but might take some getting used to, depending on how you typically interact with the watch. The crown is also recessed into the case, which is inevitable with bumper cases. Again, it just takes some getting used to. Pros: Low-profile, made of soft-touch plastic, allows full interaction with the screen. Cons: None, unless the discreet Spigen branding bothers you.

I've always been a fan of Spigen products. They've always had a good balance of quality, value, and great design. I like this product, but unfortunately, it doesn't work with any screen protectors (rubber, plastic, or glass). It simply will grab a corner and pull it up. I've wasted a few screen protectors trying to make this work. Not the products fault by any means. That being said, I can't believe I'm the only one that wants to do this. This happens if you also have a "skin" on your watch as well. This would seem more obvious though. Installing this is very easy. It's simply and quick. I like this, because it's easy to remove and clean when necessary. It's made of a plastic with a rubber-like feel to it. It seems robust and I have not had any issues with durability. That being said, my wife who's rough on her stuff has already broken hers within a month. As for protection, it works. I wish it were designed to not only protect the sides, but have a face lip and rises on the face where it will accommodate a screen protector. Overall, good build and value, but it falls short on overall protection. I would still recommend, but know if you use it, you will not be able to use any other screen protection for it.

I really liked the slim fit aspect of it. For most protective cases on the iWatch, a lot of them are bulky and unattractive but the Spigen looks great, minimal and does the job. However; I would not recommend that you play sports with it because it can snap off quite easily.

Je bricole beaucoup, j'avais une Apple Watch première génération en inox, elle s'est très vite griffée sur les côté, bien que l'écran lui est toujours resté impeccable (saphir). Avec ma nouvelle Apple Watch 4 inox mais de couleur noire, je ne voulais plus prendre le risque. Cette protection à un excellent rapport/qualité prix, elle protège parfaitement tous les contours de la montre, elle se clips et se d' éclipse en 1/4 de seconde, ce qui me permet de l'enlever quand je sors. Le plastique est d'excellente qualité, rigide et flexible, elle ne gêne absolument pas le fonctionnement, si ce n'est que la couronne est un rien moins accessible. elle protège également le bouton poussoir latéral et s'adapte parfaitement. De plus je trouve que le look noir mat s'accorde parfaitement avec la montre et le bracelet. (voir mes photos avec et sans protection). Je recommande vraiment.
