KHOMO iPad Pro 12.9 Inch Case 3rd Generation (Released 2018) with Pen Holder - Dual Black Super Slim Cover - Support Pencil Charging

I just got the apple pencil and I'm loving this case. The case itself is made of durable rubber instead of my last iPad Pro case from Khomo which was hard plastic. The hard plastic had cracked on my old case so it was time to replace. I liked my old case, and this one from Khomo is even better. More durable, a little heftier but still light weight. Better design and better protection with the rubber. Fits perfectly. The slot for the Apple Pencil is perfect. The Pencil fits in nice and snug and i am not the least bit worried of it falling out. Easy to take the Pencil out as well by pushing on the open slot behind the Pencil. You can leave the case on when plugging the Apple Pencil into the iPad as well. Overall I am super happy with the fit, quality and price of this case! Highly recommend!

This is my 2nd case for the 2017 IPad Pro 12.9. My first case was an emergency buy, just to protect my unit, till i found something I was comfortable with. The first case did not have a screen cover, but it did hold the pen and I liked that. I ultimately wanted screen protection, as I did not want bag scratches to my display. I notice that when I buy an iPad I usually go through two or three cases and sometimes switch my iPad depending on my activities. The Khomo is my second case and I call it a winner, I’ve stopped looking at cases. The Khomo does great holding the pencil and not being overly complicated releasing the Apple Pencil, when you want to use it. Case fit is spectacular. Access to the lighting charge port is good, some aftermarket lightning plugs will struggle, but ultimately work to get past the opening of the case, which is small, not any fault of Khomo though. Fit and finish are great. The protective flap is a great cover, certainly the magnet could be stronger, but it is more than adequate. Using the flap to stand the iPad up is great. The flap also does well when using the iPad onscreen keyboard, when you want to elevate the screen, vs working completely flat. Cleaning debri off of the exterior of the cover begins with a dry cloth, stains or smudges come off easily with a damp cloth. Marking on the screen is minimal, but you might notice two long streaks along the glass, if you have moist hands. Cut outs for the ports are nice, the speakers resonate well and the camera does great in the space provided. Using the case in tablet mode and capturing a quick on site photograph by folding the flap over works well. This case is not a shockproof case, so one should remember anything less than shockproof means your iPad is protected against scratches and moderate bumps, not falls. I bought the twill black model and it came out of the package looking great and the natural patina it is starting to have from my hand holding and being used daily is great, the case is great after three months of 12hour a day use in the field.

I really like this case a lot. I love how the Pencil attaches and stays out of the way. Before I bought it I was so afraid I was going to lose my Pencil, so to have a slot built in was a huge plus. The case is really durable and lightweight, and I feel that it's going to hold up for a long time. It doesn't feel like some cheaper cases where it's just cheap rubber/fabric wrapped in cardboard. The one thing that's been bugging me about it though has been the folding stand options. The cover magnets don't really like to "snap" into a folding position and stay there. It's collapsed on me a few times and gave me a panic because I thought it might slam down on the iPad and crack the screen. I've learned to get used to it but it's frustrating nonetheless. I thought about giving it 3 stars but overall the case functions as a protective barrier and the Pencil slot is a lifesaver. I just need to be more careful - though I shouldn't have to.

This case far exceeded my expectations and couldn't be more happy with it on my 10.5" iPad Pro. I considered the leather sleeve with pencil holder from Apple which looks really nice but not $130 nice. I don't care what kind of leather it's made out of. I instead purchased the Logitech Slim Keyboard Case for the same $130 and love it overall but it's just a bit bulky for every day use. This thing however hits the mark spot on in my opinion. It's extremely affordable, it has a great Apple Pencil holder, and it's a lightweight Smart Cover. The outside finish is very classy and the inside has the usual felt liner to prevent scratches on the screen. It has decent protection the rest of the way around except for the cover hinge side. When folded back it exposes the left side of the iPad but it's pretty much the case(no pun intended) with any type of Smart Cover case. It is a perfect compliment to a great iPad. Well done!

I have always purchased Apple manufactured cases, but when I found Apple isn't making a complete case for the iPad Pro, I had to go looking. This Khomo iPad Pro Case is the real deal. It is extremely well-made, of decent materials, and a pleasure to use. I like the material, it is grey/black, with a slight pattern and fuzzy inside. This is some sort of man-made material, but that's okay, it is sturdy, flexible, and tough, just what you need to keep your iPad Pro safe.I like the beaded edge that surrounds the screen, it protects the screen if it were to set down upside down with the cover open. I also like the firmness of the cover, the creases (at least so far) are pretty still so folding the cover into a triangle will hold up the iPad for viewing. I love that the Pencil holder is built-in, that it holds the Pencil firmly with no chance of it popping out. It can be a little tricky to remove the Pencil but there are slots in the case to make it easy to get the Pencil out.

I have ordered two of these cases. I ordered the first and it arrived with a large black stain across the inside of the gray screen cover, which came from the charcoal moisture reducing packet that they package inside the case; it had been opened and there were little charcoal pebbles all over. I ordered another with the plan of returning the first. The second case arrived with a crease folded into the front cover - picture taking a piece of cardboard and folding it in half - that's what the cover looks like. The case would be a fantastic case if I could get one that isn't damaged. If you can get one that doesn't have issues then it really is a good ipad case. The only other complaint I have is that the magnet in the front cover is very weak, but that's not a big deal. It does a good job of protecting the ipad and holding the apple pencil in place.

This is my first KHOMO case and I am pleased with my purchase. The 2nd gen iPad Pro 12.9 is a large tablet, so I was looking for a case that offered a good balance of protection while adding as little bulk as possible. This case offers that. The seems well made, fits the iPad securely, and has a bit of a raised lip around the edges so the iPad can be laid screen down with the cover open. The holder holds the Pencil securely and the sleep/wake functionality of the cover works perfectly. My only complaint is that the first fold on the cover has become a little flappy after using the stand function a few times, but everything still works fine. This is a very functional and efficient, no-frills case and I’m perfectly happy with that!

This was one of the few options available that would secure the Apple Pencil to the new iPad Pro, while still allowing it to charge. I also wanted a case that would provide coverage to the edges, unlike Apple's own cases. I just put my new iPad Pro in the case last night, and I've been playing with it quite a bit. So far, I'd have to say that this case is as close to the idea case as I could imagine. It feels like the quality of construction is better than Apple's. It lets me access all of the ports and speakers. It doesn't interfere with the pencil or camera. There is a small lip around the front, so even if you lay the iPad face down with the cover open, the screen won't touch the table. The case has a nice fabric texture, which looks professional and elegant. Very well done. I hope it holds up over time.

Good material, good feel. Could have been better if had a way to remove the pencil easily.

Have the bigger pro version, bought this based on that purchase. Good products, the pencil holder is the icing on the cake. In this case the holder is within the spine, so hidden when the mini is not in use. The overall case size does feel any different to a non pencil holding case. Use it every day.

Protege bien el aparato, ya que es de silicona y tiene rebordes; la tapa parece de calidad, no como las chinas que se deshacen al cabo de dos días; y tiene espacio para el lápiz oficial. I've had this case for a week and love it. It feels really well made, fits exactly and looks great. Sleep/wake function works, and due to the magnets, the cover closes tightly and doesn't flap around. The upright viewing angle is good. The Pencil charges without any issues and is easy enough to remove from the case. One of my favourite things about the case is the microfibre lining inside the hard shell - not a lot of cases have this, and I'm always worried about the plastic scratching the back of the device (also, the edges of the case are not hard plastic, but a softer but still sturdy plastic, which makes the iPad easy to insert and remove without having to force it). One note: The edges of this case come up past the sides of the iPad, and wrap around the front slightly (ie. the case is not flush with the iPad when the cover is open). I found it doesn't bother me while browsing or even drawing, but it might be a problem with a thicker tempered glass screen protector that goes all the way to the sides of the iPad. I have a film screen protector, which leaves a gap of about 1mm on all sides. I had to be a bit careful when placing the iPad into the case to not push up the screen protector, but other than that it works well. I was considering a much more expensive case, and am glad that I picked this one instead!
