Classic Whistle

I spend a lot of time traveling outside and rely on my whistle to single for help if/when I need it. After trying several different rescue whistles the Fox 40 is my favorite. It's made of a durable plastic that doesn't break or chip easily, works even when wet, and is extremely loud. I never travel with another type if I can avoid it. Pros: - Very loud - Works when wet - Durable/Long lasting Cons: - This one does not come with a lanyard

I love these whistles and have purchased several of them. I keep them on all of my sets of car keys and backpacks in case of emergency. I would totally recommend this whistle.

Seriously consider putting in soft ear plugs when you blow the whistle - - VERY, VERY LOUD! Great piece of safety gear - I do a lot of solo hikes.

Very loud. The volume ranges from very loud to painful. Unlike some whistles, a gentle puff does not get you a subdued whistle, so it may not be good in some applications like refereeing sports or any kind of use indoors. However, it's perfect if what you need is to be heard at long distances, like a search and rescue scenario.

My soccer referee son was required to get this brand soccer whistle so he was thrilled to be able to pick his favorite whistle color. He's tried it out since and it works great giving a loud, clear whistle. Perfect whistle for sports and camping.

don't buy another brand. this works well even with water in it - think Kayaking

Back in my days as a lifeguard, these are the only whistles I used. Once one masters the technique, these whistles are incredibly effective. The should the emit can be heard at surprising distances and carries well even in crowded, noisy areas. Durable, easy to clean (soak in soapy water or throw it in the dish washer), and comes in a variety of colors.

Es el original, y tiene una sonoridad de 115 decibeles, y para quienes se pregunten, tiene el tamaño de un silbato mediano. Si quieres soplar fuerte para que se suene más, te recomiendo poner la mano arriba del silbato porque te puede aturdir.
