While it was costly - this is the best Christmas gift for my so. He loves it. You use a computer to program the lego build.. Such a great robotic lego!

If your kid is into robotics I highly recommend this it is a fabulous product and a great learning experience

Excellent as an introduction to robotics as well as is the home kit option. The rechargeable battery makes this kit worth it.

The product itself appears to be nice. The reason for the rating is the company's refusal to provide the software app that was available at the time of purchase. In the meantime, Lego produced new version of the software (compatible with MacOs Catalina) which changed significantly the user interface (now it is based on Scratch and before it wasn't). According to my son (end user, age 12) the new software is very difficult to use and in addition in his school they use the old software. Lego's representative response to the request to download the old software was that the only version they have is posted on the web page, and she refused to even consider forwarding my request to somebody who may be able to help. I'm very disappointed that a company such as Lego would provide such a low level of support for their clients, in particularly for a product which is not really inexpensive.

Iffy on whether or not the Power charger comes with the kit. Love the kit and storage tub. After-market mark-up on this is INSANE! (Check Legoeducation.com if you are not limited by options.)

Why would there not be a charger included with a rechargeable battery??? Disappointing that we have to purchase that separately.

My 12-year-old grandson LOVED this. It's the same one his robotics class uses. Make sure you buy the power source attachment.

Incomprensible que el set incluya una batería recargable y no contenga el cargador de la misma. Lo peor, no está disponible en lego y Servicio a clientes no puede decir donde conseguirla. Decepcionante!!!

中古のためか、LEGOのサンプルプログラムが動かない問題がありましたが、ファームウェアのアップデートにより解決しました。 ほぼ新品で中古販売されていた理由が分かった気がしましたが、それも含めて良い課題になりました。 LEGOのサポートは充実してるので、その点は期待以上でした。 バッテリー充電用のアダプターは付属してないので、別途購入しました。 発送は早かったです。

Esta hecho para las escuelas pero nosotros lo compramos para usarlo en casa. Tiene una caja con compartimentos para organizar las piezas que los otros conjuntos no tienen. Eso permite encontrar las piezas más rápido. Además hay una hoja incluida que explica dónde va cada pieza en la caja. También hay pegatinas con dibujos de las piezas que van a cada compartimiento para pegarlas en la caja. Hay más variedad de colores de las piezas que en los otros conjuntos y así se pueden diferenciar mas fácilmente. El conjunto tiene un programa especial que se concentra más en la educación (básicamente enseña a construir robots y a programar) que en jugar (aún así, es muy divertido). Se pueden construir robots siguiendo las instrucciones pero también se puede inventar unos nuevos. Por ejemplo, nosotros hemos inventado, construido y programado un robot que escribe (el que sale en la foto). Lo recomendamos mucho!
