Does this machine do top cover stitches ?

I’m not exactly sure what you mean by your question but the machine does cover stitches that you would find on hems of t-shirts and tops.

Please, is this machine made from metal or plastic? Is it heavy duty machine?

The machine is all plastic casing with metal machining. It is very good quality and has had quite a lot of home use. Just found it a little complicated at first.

Will this deal with heavyweight materials?

I have used it with tweed fabric which was very thick and it worked great!
