I'm not sure what others pick on. The divider kit fits well in the Pelican 1550 case, and the materials seem to be of good quality. I loaded it up with my photo gear and was very happy with the result. I feel that this option provides much more protection when transporting lenses than a soft bag, not to mention that the case can now be placed "on the bottom" when loading a car. The Velcro dividers can be a bit hard to deal with, but this is necessary to make sure they hold well. Expect to spend a bit more time setting things up initially, laying things out, fiddling with Velcro, but your reward is protection and well-organized storage. FWIW, the whole set can easily be removed from the case if you want to swap out with other type of padding. For example, I had pure foam padding that I used in this case for other things, and I can go back and forth easily between these depending on what trip I'm doing. Kinda nice!

Finally got a totally customized way to fit ALL my camera gear in one box for travel. I opted for a organizer in the lid for use but it can pull out and the top foam put back in for travel. I'm always outside so nice to have this on an water expedition.

This thing works great if you want to save money on a music gear case. I purchased an inexpensive, hard-shell travel case and put this divider in it for my guitar/music gear, such as straps, guitar accessories, tuner, harmonicas, egg shakers, iPad, etc. I love that's it's easily and quickly customizable, too! The whole set up cost me under $150. Highly recommend!

It's a perfect fit for my Pelican 1550. Quality is very good. Shipping from this vendor was very fast. Price is a great savings compared to most stores. Photo displayed here is immediately after receiving the inserts. I haven't taken the time yet to arrange my gear for best fit. The kit offers many options!
