Baxton Studio Bianca Fabric Sofa in Light Gray and Walnut Brown

Great looking sofa and it’s easy to put together. Solid frame - all finished, solid wood! Some say you need two people to assemble - you’ll be fine doing it all by yourself! Came in two boxes - one huge box and a smaller square box for the arms and bottom pegs. Everything you need - screws, pegs, hex key, screw cap, etc. - is included. One page step-by-step guide was easy to follow. Sofa is hard as a rock so if you’re looking for plush/soft sofa, this is not it! Not even close. I’ll need more throw pillows for added padding. It has a slightly reclined backrest and sofa seat is tilted up. This is my biggest gripe because you end up tilting your head forward. But, if your TV is mounted higher on the wall, it shouldn’t be a problem. The sofa seat is secured with 5 screws at the bottom and two small 90-degree corner brace. Be careful with the 5 screws because you could split the wood. This is a design flaw because you end up driving the screws close to the edge of the wood. You can’t really push down the sofa seat so the screws bite into the wood more. Angle up a little and go slow or you’ll split the wood. Is it worth it? For me it’s aesthetically pleasing but not the most comfortable to sit on.

*update 4/8/26* ok I’ve had this sofa almost six years now and safe to say it’s time for it to be replaced. It’s to the point where I’m in total pain after sitting on it even for as little as 30 minutes. This was a great couch while it lasted (for the price) but looks like it’s doubled in price now since I bought mine in 2020. I can’t say it’s worth the 2026 price and only getting less than 6 years of basic comfort. I’d recommend only getting this sofa for a room that rarely used. So far, this sofa is working out great. I can’t speak for longevity as I’ve only had it about 1.5 months. It did come damaged, which is unfortunate and frustrating, because no one wants to deal with returning a heavy sofa. But luckily the damage was fairly minor and it’s on the back of the sofa so no one can see it. The grey color is pretty light. I was worried about getting a light color, especially since I have a dog, but I keep it covered with a thick fuzzy blanket for protection. The color wasn’t my first choice but it was the only option. The sofa is pretty sturdy. It doesn’t shake or make any squeaky noises. I don’t have a lot of traffic in my house so hopefully it will last several years.

I have a bad back. These couches are the only ones that dont make me scream in pain. Plus I am a fan of the whole midcenury modern esthetic. Plus, Plus, the price is reasonable and realistic.

Had an issue with the product and I reached out. The company not only assisted me with my needs but went above and beyond. Customer service is still something valued, thank you for your services.
