It is what it is.
As someone who has moved around quite a bit and has devices from several different countries, this thing was perfect for my computer desk. What it really needs however, is a removable cord that you can replace with a local cord...alot of devices have these twin circle inlets in their power bricks that let you interchange with other cords as they seem to be kind of a standardized design. In the end, I still needed an adaptor to plug in this power strip and those tend to be unreliable.

Really came in handy
On a recent trip to Malaysia, the existence of outlets was not great in several of the places we stayed. This power strip was a huge asset for me and my friend who shared a room and needed to charge our cell phones and cameras.
