Nice little toy
This was a gift for my grandmother, who no longer has the strength to use a manual can opener, and cannot hold heavy cans for an electric. She LOVES it! Durability got moved to a 4 because it's hard on batteries. (I understand that's not really durability, but that's the closest category.) Versatility is a 5 because, even though it's a 1 trick pony. It's meant to be a 1 trick pony. It works on 8oz cans to gallon cans.

LAKA electric can opener
Initially, it worked well. Then it started going thru batteries like crazy. Seemed like I would have to put in new batteries after opening just a few cans. Used to open all my cans. Stopped opening most. Final straw....I tried to open a can and it wouldn't go around the can and then I couldn't get it off and it wouldn't turn off! This is a great item to have in the kitchen.....just not this one!

Terrible!!!
Terrible product. Biggest waste of money. Cheap plastic. Doesn’t work at all. Batteries won’t stay in battery compartment. Seriously the dollar store makes better products than this

Don’t buy!
Got as a Christmas present and it was broken and not functioning by February. Cheaply made, hard to use, wish I could get a refund. Went to open a can and it latched on and died. Changed batteries while still hooked and didn’t work. Couldn’t get it off or functioning even after banging against the sink so had to toss it,can and all. Frustrating.

In simple terms this device is a POS. Worked, with difficulty a couple of time; does not work at all now.Why is there not the ability to give "0" stars?

Batteries would not stay secure in place causing the power erratic on and off, returned immediately, DO NOT BUY.
