Direct replacement for my epiphone les paul modern
Replaced the bad factory switch on my epiphone les paul modern. Wiring was the same. Known issue on the modern. Cheap fix with a soldering iron kit.

Impressive
Itโs my first time buying a Switchcraft and itโs as good as I expected it to be. Thereโs a little play at the center position but it doesnโt feel cheap. Thereโs no crackling or noise whatsoever, and it switches easily. Iโm going to get a couple more.

Not Good if Really Switchcraft
I purchased 2 of these some months ago. Installed one immediately and saved one for as-needed. So, I closely examined the switch, and I echo what most of the low-star reviews said. The solder points are pretty flimsy. The switch makes poor contact, and mine makes my amp pop when I switch it. After someone noted their switch was used, I examined my unused switch with a 5X magnifying lens and discovered two things: 1) every solder lug had the remains of solder on them and were apparently soldered previously in some application; 2) the tiny contact points appeared barely connected to the spring leaves and were connected by no more than a pinpoint of surface area. I could see under most of the contact. This is a very poor switch for any price. The one I installed is mostly poor functioning and unusable. After years of Amazon purchases, I find myself wondering why they let so many second and third rate products be sold. I consider this junk.

Worth the price!
Definitely worth the price; easy to install, fits perfectly, and feels great. The sound out of my pickups also improved. I swapped out the plastic toggle for a cream colored one.
