I have 3 dogs; 2 of them are rescues and all 3 of them are stubborn and a little wild acting. I asked the shelter where I got the 2 rescues from about training help. They suggested either a clicker system or a whistle. I took some time to see what was available and when I saw this 3-pack of dog whistles I went for it. Shipping was fast and arrived faster than I expected. When I opened the box up the directions were quite easy. I was able to easily tune each whistle to each dog and used the accompanying lanyards to attach a label to identify which whistle goes to which dog. So far we are learning some basic commands like sit and stay. All 3 of the dogs are responding well (it’s a miracle for one of them) and I think with more practice it will only improve from here. My daughter has decided that she will be teaching them a bunch of new tricks now!

Useless. Two of the three do not even work - no matter how much I ‘adjust’ them, they don’t come close to making a whistling sound. I would return them, but I misplaced the one that worked... and when I say ‘worked’ I mean it made a whistle sound, but had absolutely no affect on the barking dogs, even when I was only about 10 feet away.

Tried using this on 5 different family dogs, and none responded at all. I followed the directions exactly and tried to adjust it with no success on any of them. I gave it time and patience before writing this just to be sure it wasn’t just me using it incorrectly. I will say that they look and feel high quality, I just wish they would work.

I have new neighbors who have two dogs that are jerks. Please don't get me wrong, I'm a HUGE animal lover. I don't call animals names lightly. There is no other way to describe these dogs. They are jerks. They are outside a lot and when I let my dog out, they both come flying to the fence, barking their heads off, teeth exposed, growling, like they just can't wait to get ahold of my dog to tear him to shreds. The first few months were a nightmare because my dog would respond to them by also going to fence, barking and growling and all 3 would try to attack each other through the fence. So, I bought these hoping I could deter them from engaging. Well, the whistle works on my dog but not theirs. Now my dog goes outside and just ignores them so I guess it worked but I'm still quite annoyed that my dog can't be in our yard without those two barking and growling at him the whole time.

As I’ve mentioned in other reviews, we live on an 8-acre homestead and have 4 dogs that spend a great deal of time perusing the perimeter! These whistles work well for bringing them all back to home base when they’re out and about. The whistles come with instructions, which were somewhat helpful. I did need to use other YouTube videos about whistle-training dogs to get a clearer understanding on how best to train my pack to come to me when they hear the the whistle.These seem to be a good value for the money.

Seems hard to get the ultrasonic silent sound to work. It is hard to get out of the carrier, sonits secure. Easy to change pitch. Good quality lanyards. Happy with this deal.

These whistles are DEFINITELY NOT silent nor are they adjustable. I don't know if I got a bad batch, but they sound the exact same even when "tuning" the whistle, the frequency does not change no matter how many times you turn the nut; I've tried with all three but they all have the same defect. It emits an obnoxious sound but it's not any special tune, sounds like a regular whistle & it did not work on my puppy

These are great! We have a 4 month old so we are trying to teach our big lab/shepherd mix not to jump. They seem solid and I like that they come with straps. So far it seems to be working, they definitely make her stop what she’s doing and listen to us. We are experimenting with the different frequencies and might start using different tones for different commands. It comes with a small page of instructions.
