Works great in Peavey Classic 30
I bought this because the stock reverb tank in my Peavey Classic 30 had stopped working. It was relatively easy to install, and involved 4 soldering points. Once I turned it on, I was amazed at how much better it sounded. If I knew that, I would have replaced it way before the old one broke! There is plenty of reverb on tap, over halfway up is too much for anything but ambient guitar sounds. There's a wide range of sounds, and they are all good.

Nice Upgrade For $25.95!
I bought the MOD 9EB2C1B Reverb Tank to replace the Korean made Reverb Tank in my Fender Blues Deville Reisssue 410. Installation involved nothing more than a Phillips Screwdriver and patience. Up and running in about 10 minutes. First impression -- a nice subtle upgrade from a 2 spring tank to a 3 spring tank. Sitting close to the amp I noticed the notes seemed better blended, i.e. sounded like reverb tanks from the 50s and 60s. Warmer. More vintage sounding. Further away from the amp (about 12 feet) the tank sounds beautiful. Very open and full sounding. Still, not going to ride the pipeline anytime soon. Not sure if pipeline sounds are even possible with the FBDR, but for $25 I definitely like the sound better. If you are in doubt, contact Amplified Parts before you order. They are ver helpful!

Great Hot Rod Deluxe upgrade/ replacement
Replaced the old Accutronics tank in my early 2000’s Fender Hot Rod Deluxe. The MOD sounds so lush almost 3D in comparison. Granted that old tank was on the way out and was sometimes failing, but I’ve owned this amp for about 10 years and never liked the reverb as much (and I’m a reverb freak)

Well made....but, a little toooo much Verb.
I got this for my Fender Twinn Reverb. Very well made unit, extremely well packaged for shipping. Took just minutes to swap out. I now set the dial at "5" (out of 10) since the verb is outrageously toooo much. If set on "10", you can't make out the vocals, and Guitar notes wash over each other to become a jumbled mess. Yes, you can cut it back, but it just doesn't have that original "Twinn Reverb" sound. It sounds more like the old 50s Doo Wop, rather than a clear, subtle verb. But, I can live with it by fine tuning the controls. Hellllloooooooooo ouuuutttt therrrrrrrrre.

Good choice for me
Was a simple swap in a Silver Face Peavey Bandit. It is a wetter sound probably because of three springs but I prefer it to the original.

Great Reverb Tank for 212R
My Fender Frontmant 212R had a stock reverb tank labeled as FA Reverb-3. Found out from research that its actually a 8EB2C1B (9.25") from who knows who (accutronics?)...but it sounded tiny and made the amp sound harsh.I applied this tank after confirming the longer length would fit. It required new mounting holes (screwed in by hand) and a longer RCA cables. Installation was probably 1/2 hour. Now it sounds fantastic. It doesn't have the harshness and it gives you a warm reverb. Now I have a good sounding amp for what I do (make noise in basement).

WOW!!! I should've ordered this a loooong time ago
Purchased the MOD 9EB2C1B Reverb Tank as a replacement for my Fender 212R. Reasonably priced and shipped promptly, installation was relatively quick and painless but I did have to replace the RCA cable (so make sure you order a longer RCA cable at the same time). Now for the WOW portion of the review. My Fender 212R was a back up amp, yes I said was, the amp is now my main amp for gigs and practices. Well worth the price, time and effort that I invested in this purchase.

Sounds great, 2 screws and 2 plugs to install
Sounds great, 2 screws and 2 plugs to install. Thick clear reverb. I can easily turn it to 12 on my Fender Hot Rod DeVille 210 without it burying guitar notes. It's an overtone, it doesn't swallow your amp in reverb.
