Worked about as well as I could have expected
My house was built around 1967 and I recently had a few inches of cellulose insulation blown in over the existing layer of fiberglass batts. I realized after the insulation was added that I need to create some type of path to access the high velocity air conditioner that's also up there.I bought four packs for a total of 16 panels and they worked quite well. They are small and light enough that I could get them through the small opening to the attic space and the gridded construction made it easy to work them under the batts and through the cellulose. Some of the comments had me concerned they would be flimsy or easy to break but I don't feel that is any kind of issue once installed on my 16 inch on center joists. Not all of my joists are equally space but I found there was always some way to position the next panel to get it into a good position that provides some sound footing. It may have been more frugal of me to by some lumber and build something up there by it's not my favorite place to hang around especially in Summer. So the convenience of these was worth the price to me.

Perfect.
I needed a walkway in my attic for ensuring that I can check that the roof & its components are functioning properly. Don’t be surprised if your joists aren’t perfectly spaced. I was but was also able to still place these. Also, I’m in the process of fixing my roof, so I haven’t decided if I will blow loose insulation back over the area or lay pieces over the walkway once I’m finished. I will most likely do both: refill the area the size of the joists with loose & then cover with pieces. I started with one pack but plan to buy enough to span the attic joists! Btw, they are cheaper to purchase via Amazon than the other places that sell them. And they ship fast!

Smart solution; pricey; unsure of sturdiness
PROS-super-easy to install-easy to get into the attic-not intimidatingIn six years, I have not even looked at my attic, because my husband had told me there was no flooring up there, and I was always nervous about not knowing what kind of plywood to use or installing something incorrectly and unsafely. Finding Attic DEK gave me the confidence in taking on the project. They are small enough to get into the attic easily, and they were very easy to drill into place.CONS-price-not sure about sturdinessAs many others have stated, one pack of four just does not give you very much surface area to warrant the price. We purchased four packs, because we felt that the investment was important. So far, I have only laid 2 1/2 packs. When I went to step on one, the give was just enough that it made me nervous about laying any too far away from a sturdy space (the 2 x 4 boards in our attic that are secured to joists, where I feel safe standing). We have much more attic space, and I had planned to lay them in areas farther away from the door, but now it just makes me a little nervous.I am pretty confident that they will do the job of holding the file boxes of papers and books that we are trying to get out of the way, but I am just a little nervous about walking on them and using them as extended floor space (I weigh about 100 pounds less than the maximum capacity).TIPS:-screw the screws in slowly. The first few, I went a little high on the torque, and ended up stripping screws. When I was careful to go slowly and angle the screw straight up and down, everything went beautifully.-lining up the first grid line so that it is on top of the joist is more important than making the pieces fit perfectly together. It is better to leave a small gap if you need so that the first line is on top of the joist. I believe that the ones on which I did that are the ones that feel more sturdy.I will update this review when I have placed items in the attic, and when I know whether we will extend the project.

As described!
These are pretty solid and I’m very happy with the find. I would recommend using your decking screws if you have some handy as the screws that come with the set strip easy and are on the cheaper side. I do think the 4 piece panel set are about $20 over-priced but there’s a certain level of convenience you’re paying for. I plan on getting 3 more sets as the added square footage this gives you to stack bins is truly awesome!I’m about 5’9 175 and I felt super safe walking on these.

Very pricy!!
I like these there stable as you can maneuver them to stabilize many things in your attic my only complaint is the small amount you get a pack of 4 an it cost over $130 bucks is really outrageous for plastic deck walkway in your attic your company really needs to do something about the price it's crazy the cost that's charged other than that They do get the job done

A terrific way to make attic space usable
This is what I've been looking for all these years! Our unfinished attic only has struts and beams and insulation, and walking around is difficult. A couple sets of these grids, and presto, we now have usable storage space. The advantage is how modular they are, and how light they are. Compared to plywood, which you'd have to cut up to get into most attics, these allow the insulation to breathe, hopefully preventing any mold or humidity buildup. All in all, they are worth the money to reclaim some of that space up in your attic.

Very convenient and well thought out product to quickly give you a safe platform to walk on.
PROS: Easy to install. Would buy again. Simple and straightforward.CONS: 24” on centers flex, making it bouncy and not sturdy feeling.Tips: I needed access to an attic fan and to seal up a leak. Walking on the trusses not safe or fun. Attic Dek works great but.... my 24” on center attic is not always 24” exactly so getting all to fit took some planning. The decking looks to be great for 16” on center, but the 24” spacing flexes when I walk on it. I have not had an issue, just feels disconcerting.Buy extra #8 x 2-1/2” wood screws. Yes they come with hardware, but if the box is torn open in transit, it will fall out. I was short a few screw packs because of this.Have a little hacksaw available to trim around obstacles.Very convenient and well thought out product to quickly give you a safe platform to walk on. Easy one person job. Recommended.
