There is no rip cord
There is no rip cord to peal back the jacket. That makes it difficult when putting on connectors. Now I have a 1000 feet of cable to use without a rip cord.

Cable is great for the price
Used this to make several 1Gbps runs in my house as well as many 15' patch cables. All tested for 1Gbps. When i get a failure in connection, it has always been because of a bad modular plug (make sure you get somewhat decent ones or you will pull your hair out). Use this for running PoE to my UniFi Access Points and all connect at 1Gbps.Was a pain getting this out of the box through the pull hole, so i just ended up opening the box and pulling out the cable instead. So far no problems at all and would definately purchase again.

High quality, good flexibility, pure stranded copper, highly recommend.
Very high quality cable. Much better than the CCA (copper clad aluminum) garbage that's out there. This is pure copper stranded cable. Cable is fairly flexible. Love the 250 foot bulk length. Only reason i gave only 4 stars is because the cable was tangled inside the bulk box and would not feed out as i pulled it. I had to open the box and untangle it about every 10 feet. Otherwise I'm very happy with the quality. Terminated ends of a 50 foot run and it instantly negotiates 1000 mbps.

Used to make patch cables
Did you know that buying a long extension cable is cheaper than buying bulk cable of the same length? Odd. Used to be the opposite, but whatever. Needed eighteen custom-length patch cables to connect computers to the LAN plugs on the wall. Ended up getting this and cutting the lengths I needed myself. After termination and testing, I can say the money saved doing that was WELL worth it. The cables are exactly the length I need, they are Gigabit and I still saved money over getting bulk cable of the same length or various not-exactly-correct-length patch cables.Belkin usually does good stuff, and this appears to be no different. Good quality, priced right for what I needed.

Basic cable, good value, works well.
Does feel a bit cheap with just enough quality and gets the job done. The pairs are twisted well. Flexible but not too soft. Paid $32/250ft which is a good deal. Can't go wrong for making residential-grade patch cables, etc.

Used this to hardwire my upstairs with Cat-5e across two different rooms (router in bedroom, and fed the line through the walls up into the attic and back down to the loft area where the computer area is). Exactly what I needed. I didn't expect to see RJ45 modular plugs attached to each end so if someone needed pre-crimped cables this would work well for long runs...but I cut them off and wired them into a wall plate with a jack in each room. I still have plenty of wire left in case I need to wire other areas of the house too.

Quality Cable in a Pull Box
I purchased the 250-foot roll because I did not need 1000 feet, and it came in a reelex box that made it easy to run cable. I have purchased bulk cable from another supplier and it looks like they cut it from a 1000 foot roll and threw it in a box, making it a tangled mess trying to use it.This stranded cable so make sure you have connectors that are compatible. I used theseย C&E Cat6, Cat5e crimp connectors, 100 Pcs Per Bags ย and they have worked great so far.

works as advertized!
For the most part - very good cable. Had 1 issue with a kink out of the box that I missed. Cost me about 15 feet of cable because of where the kink was. Otherwise - works great, I've had no other problems and am running lengths up to 30 feet.

Best non-kink cable out there
If you need to push ethernet cable through walls (eg to put your network backup drives out of the way in a cupboard) then you've probably realised how big a hole you are going to have to drill to get a conventional Cat-5 RJ45 plug through to the other side.I used to cut the ends of prebuilt patch cables, push them through, then painstakingly rebuild the plug the other side. Get a crimping toolย Crimp Tool for RJ45 plugs/Cat5e Network Patch Cables ย for pennies, some endsย Belkin RJ45 Modular Connector 25 Pack , and then drill a hole about the same diameter as the cable and get a really neat job.Why this cable?Because it has multi-strand cores which work better, bend better, and generally behave themselves in your house, better.Oh and you will love the crimping tool - for pennies, it just makes this job really easy. Great value ethernet cable
This is a great value buy! Check out the other prices for CAT5e cable and you will pay almost double. Also this is a good quality multi strand belkin cable in a strong box, ideal for pulling through and it is easy to bend into the back boxes. This buy was used to hard wire my home, as wireless doesn't work very well within the building for some reason. At 75 metres it worked out at about 20p per metre. The tool for fitting the wires onto the face plates was very cheap but remarkably strong and easy to use.

Very useful and good value (at least it was)
I paid about ยฃ15 for this it now showing ยฃ40 so I think it was a bargin at that original price.. Not sure why it is so high now.Anyway I never have a problem with any of this cable. I bought this and a cheap crimp tool and some rj45 connectors.Managed to wire all the key points in my house for next to nothing.. when considering what I would have cost for an installer to do it.

Five Stars
Copper based seemed like a better investment for my unifi AP backbone.
