kraft-tex Sampler 5-Colors Prewashed: Kraft Paper Fabric, 10-Sheets 8.5" x 11” (kraft-tex Vintage)

Bought to use in bookmaking projects. Neutral colors are nice and earthy - looking. Cuts and folds nicely. Works in my corner-rounding punch and tag top punch. Have used as a base for a small collage piece; used PVA glue to adhere small pieces of cardstock and paper,, then applied a top coat of matte finish USArtquest PPA over everything, which did not change the appearance of the Kraftex. Looks and feels like everything is adhered permanently. I shared a piece of this with a friend, who does NOT recommend running it through your sewing machine, as the holes stand out too much. I have not tried sewing with it yet, but plan to hand-sew small signatures into a cover made from this material, and see no reason that it won't be successful. It is expensive, so my only caution would be to plan your projects carefully, and to try different techniques on your scraps to make sure they work with , and on, this material. I would definitely order this again.

A clever product that is easy to cut. It is soft and smooth to the touch, and I enjoy using it in my art.

This is an interesting material to work with, is easy to cut and gererally looks good. However, couple of the sheets in this 10 sheet pack had ink smudges that were going to be very visible in most projects and that drastically limited what I could use those sheets for. Needs better quality control - especially at this price!

Have seen this on craft shows. Will be using it for bag labels. Can be printed on. Glad to see this is a sample pack as it is expensive product
