****Update-So I did end up buying another one of these and have had a completely different experience - the second one arrived all rolled up tight like a scroll. Once I undid it from the packaging it never puffed up or got much bigger. It has basically stayed really flat. Also something else that’s weird is it seems to be coming apart inside. The first one has stayed puffy and doesn’t feel like it’s in pieces but this one feels like I’ve had it forever and it’s on its last leg - like the stuffing is coming loose and separating. It is not as good as the first one. I don’t know if this is a fluke or if the company started making these with less filling or what but based on this second purchase I would not recommend this pillow. It’s like night and day experiences. If I didn’t know better I’d think I ordered a completely different pillow. I would like to have a second pillow like the first one I bought but I don’t want to risk getting another one and have it be just like this second one. It’s not like I haven’t given it time - I’ve had this second one for months so it’s not like I didn’t follow the instructions to give it time to expand. If my second pillow had been like my first I would be singing it’s praises from the rooftop but since it was such a dud I can’t recommend this as I don’t see how a purchase of the same pillow could be such an inferior product. The company seems to be experiencing poor quality control**** I used to use whatever pillow my parents bought me growing up. I could sleep anywhere on anything and never had any issues all through college and afterwards. Fast forward 20 years and for the last several years I’ve had neck pain that has gotten so bad I’ve sought medical help as well as massage and chiropractic help. Nothing worked. I bought different memory foam pillows including one that had a notch in it specifically for side sleepers which did pretty good BUT something about this pillow appealed to me so I bought it. My hunch was correct. This pillow is amazing. I don’t wake up in pain anymore and I have the most comfortable deep sleep that I have not experienced in a long time. The pillow is super soft. It literally feels like you are laying on a cloud. You sink into it and feel comforted and sleep comes easy. I feel myself breathing a sigh of relief and happiness every time I lay on it. I did not smell anything when I got it or upon opening it like other reviews mentioned. I have not removed any of the filling either. It’s perfect right out of the packaging. I’m guessing if you like a very firm pillow that this won’t be for you but if that isn’t a concern I would highly recommend it. I can’t believe the price either. We’ve paid much more for inferior pillows that were supposed to be so great but weren’t. I like this so much I’m gonna buy one for my son. My husband is going to try mine and if he likes it we are getting him one too as he also suffers from neck and back pain. I love this pillow and I’m so glad I took a chance and bought it. I’m thinking about getting one for a backup just in case because I do not want to be without this going forward.

This pillow is very soft and fluffy, and works well regardless of sleeping position - I tend to move between lying on my side and stomach, and occasionally on my back, and it's comfortable no matter which way I am. It feels like my head sinks into it just slightly, enough to be nice / supportive, while also not feeling flat. (I have a different pillow where any pressure flattens it to the point of it not really being there; this one is not like that.) It arrives rolled up in a zippered cylinder case, with plastic wrapping also around the pillow itself once you take it out. It starts flattened but fluffs back up after you remove the plastic wrapping - I left it alone for a few hours, so I'm not sure exactly how long that takes. The instructions say to leave it for 20-30 minutes. It does start out having a somewhat strong unpleasant smell - I didn't try washing it like I saw mentioned in another review, but just let it sit for a couple of weeks, and by then that had mostly faded. It comes in a soft zippered pillowcase already, but I put another one around it (for color matching purposes :D) and any tiny bit of smell that's still there is not noticeable through that. *** Note, I'm autistic and my sense of smell is tuned differently than most people's - there are things I can't smell at all, and things that affect me a lot. This seems to fall in the latter category; it might not be so noticeable to other people. *** Both the soft outer pillowcase and the inner one are zippered - I'm including a picture with both unzipped. The instructions say you can fluff it up more by putting it in the dryer, but for me it's good as-is without doing that or removing any of the foam; I guess you could store any foam you remove in the cylinder case it comes in. It's definitely nice to have the option to adjust the fluffiness / firmness, though. I haven't had any issues with it getting too hot, which is apparently a thing with memory foam. CONTEXT I tested 4 different Queen size Shredded Memory Foam pillows from Amazon after careful selection reading existing reviews. I am primarily a stomach sleeper and prefer to run hot. Objective Conclusions: This is a great choice if you want greatest range of volume control and amount of stuffing/$ spent. It may also be the most comfortable option for you. Or it may not. You've got to try it for yourself! Basically, my headline is what I learned from all the testing. My partner also tested for comparisons and we DID NOT agree on all product assessments. He is also a stomach sleeper. In Depth Notes on Dream Rite Product Only Pros: - Has the greatest expanded volume and amount of stuffing by far; allows for customization via zipper access to remove / add stuffing for individual users - High quality materials and stitching - Did not have an overwhelming chemical smell after just a bit of airing out as far as I recall - Very pleasant texture and feeling to covering if used on it's own; would say the "cool,calm" part of the description is accurate in this sense Cons: - Description says "Whether you prefer soft or firm pillows, this pillow is for you" in regards to the ability to add or remove stuffing. In actuality this did not have much effect on the feeling of support. It should read "whether you prefer low and malleable or high and full pillows" instead. Subjective Analysis: - Description uses the word "sensual" to describe the feeling it gives. This is interesting because the exact feeling it gave me was like being caught just outside of of relief, gratification and comfort. My personal feeling for the support offered was that it's like what I imagine of trying to lie on a cloud - it's like I had a pillow that was there yet not there. The support just never reached me and ultimately that is why I couldn't choose it for myself. I tried to assess as a back sleeper as well and had the same feeling.

I have bought several pillows in Walmart and also higher end stores like Macys and Belk. I always returned them because I never was satisfied. I figured this pillow would not be satisfactory either BUT I was wrong. This pillow is a keeper. I've been using it for 4 nights so far and will continue using it. It came in a flat box. The pillow was inside of a vacuum sealed bag. The pillow is folded in half inside the bag. Cut the bag open and take pillow out. (TIP- cut the bag open along one end and keep bag in case you need it later. Read on.) After pillow is out of bag let it sit for about 30 minutes. It will slowly rise and firm up. The pillow is filled with little pieces of foam filling. The pieces are very soft. The foam pieces are in a white zipper case. Over this case is another case that is softly quilted with a zipper too. After about 30 minutes try the pillow to see how you like it. I slept on it the first night with all the foam. I wasn't comfortable. The pillow was too firm for me. The next day I removed a lot of the foam to make the pillow softer and less firm. I slept well that night and ever since then. Remember I said you might want to keep the plastic bag the pillow comes in? This is why in case you want to remove some of the foam to adjust firmness to your liking. I have the extra foam in the plastic bag. If you want a very firm pillow this will do. If you want a light softer pillow this will do. In other words this pillow should satisfy anyone. The price is perfect too. Pillows are expensive in stores that I've shopped in.

Is it possible to be in love with an inanimate object? Well this pillow is it! Slept on it for the first time last night & woke up with no neck pain or headache. I am so happy I could cry. It arrived on my doorstep in a long, thin box which was pretty heavy and I thought what the heck could this possibly be when I opened it the pillow was very, very thin and all rolled up, sealed in a plastic bag. I thought there’s no way this thin thing is gonna fluff up enough to be comfortable to sleep on. Well, I was wrong. After about 15 minutes, it grew into its normal size. The cover is plush and soft since it was bedtime. I went right to sleep on it and literally slept like a baby to the point where I wanted to call out sick so I could just continue sleeping! It was perfect for me with all the fill in it and I’m not sure what other people are observing, but I had absolutely no smell whatsoever! I am going to buy myself another one. I’ve tried probably 20 pillows and this is the one for me. I highly recommend it.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I've slept on high-quality European down pillows since I was a child, and I've never been able to sleep on anything else—memory foam least of all as it feels like sleeping on concrete and gives me terrible headaches. This pillow changed EVERYTHING. Sleep quality is excellent. The pillow allows the head to sink in but provides excellent support regardless of sleeping position. It's adjustable. It's washable (unlike down and regular memory foam). It's easily "fluffable". It's cost effective (I made two standard-size pillows out of one queen-size one, using hypoallergenic zippered pillow cases). That being said, there are a couple of minuses in my book: 1) Shredding is not uniform. Some of the shreds are big/long, and foam is not all the same color (i.e. not as illustrated). It doesn't seem to take away from sleep quality, but the texture shows through standard pillowcases (which is why it comes with a super thick pillow case), and I'm not sure 100% of the foam is MEMORY foam. In short: I don't believe the pillow/foam is as high quality as the vendor would have you think. 2) It's supposed to be CertiPUR. It may not be. No certification appeared on the box, and the initial off gassing was atrocious. I had to air the pillow for 5 days days before being able to sleep on it. After that, it had no smell, but I'm kind of wondering if I'm still breathing harmful chemicals during the night. It's off putting... I'm rating this pillow 3 stars based on sleep quality (to be fair), but I have some doubts about the quality of the foam, and I will update this review if sleep quality changes. Noteworthy: Fakespot rates this page "F", which means a lot of reviews are fake. Mine is not. For what it's worth. UPDATE (10/18/20): I had to stop using this pillow due to the pain I developed sleeping on it, as if my head/scalp could literally feel every single square piece of foam and hurt from it. (Note: "shredded" memory foam isn't actually shredded. They're leftover piece from the manufacturing process of mattresses and memory foam pillows. Some pieces are small, some are large, some of flat, some are square or rectangular,etc.). So exactly one year after buying it, this pillow has become a back pillow, and I'm back to square one: A $200+ 650-fill down pillow. But no regrets. I'm also trying the Tempur-Pedic Cloud pillow, which shows some promises.

On a whim I decided I hated my contoured memory foam pillow and decided to buy another pillow that was highly rated within a similar price range called “the weekender” and purchased it on amazon right away. When it arrived i really liked it and it felt great but after a week or two I decided maybe the full piece of foam life wasn’t for me anymore. I left a five star rating on that pillow but decided, as a stomach sleeper that I just needed something a little more malleable. I read all the good reviews on this and after had using bamboo pillows before and finding them to be WAY too thick and fluffy for a stomach sleeper I thought this was the one to go with for its removable filler. When it arrived the plastic it was wrapped in was actually kinda difficult for me to remove, I found the little rolled sleeve it came in to be wasteful but what packaging isn’t these days. But after opening it, I did notice a stronger odor which there was a packaging advisory there would be an odor. I threw the pillow in the dryer with low heat for a few minutes and it seemed very fluffed and ready to go, the smell has gone away after two days or so! As far as comfort - this pillow is not like other bamboo pillows that are soooo fluffy. I like a flatter pillow and I can’t imagine removing much stuffing at all from this, maybe a little but it flattened really well. It does change shape when you fluff it. I however have found this pillow to be VERY firm, like way more firm than I was expecting with shredded foam. I’d give it a 4/5 for comfort because it was so much more firmer than I usually enjoy. I found myself waking up and turning the pillow over to readjust the foam inside and create another little “bowl” for my head. If you like a firm pillow but one you can move around and shape, this is is a great option! Definitely worth the 20 bucks. I think after this purchase and “the weekender” I may still be on the hunt for THE PERFECT pillow but im still gonna use this one until I find it 😝

TLDR: this pillow is junk and NOT filled with shredded memory foam. It is filled with something else, with a tiny bit of memory foam so it isn't completely false advertisement. See the photos. The "premium" version is the only one worth buying. DO NOT by this. I bought the "WonderSleep Premium Adjustable Loft [Queen Size 2-Pack] - Shredded Hypoallergenic Memory Foam" a few years ago and really loved it. It was jam packed full of padding that was actual shredded memory foam; so much you had to remove some to make it a firmness that was reasonable. That product was worth buying!! Highly recommended. This product....not so much. In fact, I STRONGLY recommend against buying it. I mistakenly bought this one in Feb. When I got it, opened it, and let it sort of inflate....it didn't really inflate like the other one. I thought perhaps it was defective, so I sought to return it, but missed the return date drop. But my faith was so strong in the previous product, I bought another. This time I opened it up, and compared the products. They're nowhere near the same quality. In fact, I personally think it's BS that they even claim this particular product is filled with shredded memory foam. Look at the picture. Sure, there are a few lonely pieces of shredded memory foam, but the rest is some sort of other fibrous material that does jack diddly squat for support. It's utter crap. I mean, just look at it, laying there, folded in half and still not able to provide enough support for a child's head, let alone an adults. I honestly feel taken advantage of and that this product (the non-premium) shouldn't even be sold, and certainly not with the description of "Shredded Hypoallergenic Memory Foam Pillow". It's more like "low quality pillow with a handful of memory foam chunks so we can make the claim". WTF guys. You asked for the review...well, here you go. Now I just wish I could get my money back for the other crap pillow. I give better pillows to my dogs. Shame on you for the false advertising.

You can adjust this pillow to your liking. We used 2 of these pillows to make 3. Comes with 2 zipper pillowcases which is very practical.

I got two of these pillows in queen size for my queen size bed. They go from one side of my bed to the other. I knew they had to be comfy when they were made with chipped memory foam. And to top it off, they have a cover made with bamboo to keep you cool. I slept like a baby first night. You can adjust the pillow by removing some of the memory foam to make it softer. I like mine just the way it is. It gives support but is also soft and comfortable. I am going to loan one to my daughter and my granddaughters to try. I am sure they will love it. They would make a good Christmas present. I would buy them ahead of course in case they run out. You will love this pillow. It is worth every penny. Love, love, love this pillow. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.

Bought two of this after watching a youtube video about being a good pillow. After opening let it sit 30 mins as per instructions. Only rose around to 60 to 70mm thick (untouched) when im holding it, its as thin as a paper. Tried tumble dry it also and still the same. Wasted my money on this. Hope it will still fluff up after a few days and wouldnt be a total waste.

Excelente calidad en todos los sentidos, se ajusta perfectamente a tu cuerpo o cabeza además que se siente muy fresca por ejemplo en mi caso que es clima cálido no genera calor excesivo y se siente muy bien al dormir aún a 40°C.
