DOES NOT WORK!!!
I ORDERED THIS" POS" FOR MY WIFE WHO HAS MS AND ARTHRITIS SO SHE COULD OPEN CANS AUTOMATICALLY WHILE PREPARING MEALS! When it arrived I placed 4 AA batteries per intructions only to find the battery spacers would not allow the batteries to make contact! After some modification to allow said contact I tried to open a can only to find the device would not make 1 revolution and stop,but continued to revolve around the can without cutting it open! Is there any quality control testing where these things are made??It would certainly save an egregious waste of time for customers who purchase the product only to find that they have been duped! It is cheaply made and does not work.Sending it back for a refund!! DO NOT ORDER THIS ITEM! I would have given zero stars if Amazon allowed it!

DON'T BUY THIS!!!!! It DOESN'T work.
Would have given this 0 stars if it was possible. I purchased this as a Christmas gift, but decided to open it early since we were doing some canning which required opening a lot of cans. Opened it, put in the batteries, full of excitement, and........it doesn't work. Both my husband and I tried, and tried, and tried to get it to work,no luck. I originally ordered this because my mother in law had one and it was awesome. Turns out, she had a different brand. I tried to return this, but it says my return window is closed (because it has been wrapped up under the tree as a gift, I've had to beyond the acceptable time to return), so I'm stuck with a can opener that does not work.

From the moment I opened the package I knew I should have just sent this opener back. The instructions were poor and when I finally did get it to work it didn't work well. I used it a couple times and had basically given up on it. Well today I needed it for my lunch and it breaks 1/4 of the way through. This is after five uses tops. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM! You will be disappointed. This is the first time I have ever written a review on a product so know I am passionate about how bad this product is.

When I could get it to work properly it was great, unfortunately it was always a task and after using it maybe 7 or 8 times it just quit working all together.

If you want a can opener that does not work, this is the one.
This is just a great can opener if you want one that does not work for more than two seconds. It did not work with batteries that showed as good, so I reset the batteries, then I bought new batteries. It then worked for two seconds and is now stuck to a can.Avoid this can opener at all costs. I could not be more disappointed.

Difficult to use
This can opener is difficult to use! There are some cans - with a wide lid - where it doesn’t work at all. Half the time I use it, I end up getting so frustrated I pull out my manual can opener, despite my pain using it. I’ll just get a table top opener and chalk this experience up to “wouldn’t-it-have-been-cool-if-it-had-worked-as-advertised.”
