KYBERS Basic Series Light Saber with 11 Colors Changeable Metal Hilt RGB Sabre Toy for Kids and Adults (Silver)

A LOT of research went into buying my first lightsaber, and I am happy to say that I'm very pleased and excited about this Kybers beginner lightsaber. The saber itself and its hilt look even better in person, and the colors are great! In my opinion, this product's price is pretty fitting. I wouldn't pay more than $90 for it, because its features and design are really simple and basic. But it fits exactly what I was looking for: It looks awesome, it's lightweight, it sounds great, AND it's pretty durable (not necessarily for dueling, but for personal use at least.) It has all the ideal features objectively desired for beginners who want to get into flourishing or just want to have a cool lightsaber prop. Very content with this product and my purchase!

I bought single color sabers for my two sons and the multi-color saber for myself since I knew I'd need to defend myself once I handed them "swords". I could have gone for the extendable cone style kid's saber but I was a little caught up in the idea of having the look and sound like the movies. This model was significantly more affordable that some of the other brands that are available and I tempered my expectations accordingly. Well, let me say that no tempering was necessary. To start with, the fit and finish of these sabers is pretty extraordinary. Honestly, I would have expected to pay a lot more for the quality I feel like I received. They come with enough charge to start them up right out of the box, which is pretty important because who wants to patiently wait X hours while their new lightsaber charges?? It also allowed for a full on battle in the living room first thing Christmas morning. With the lights off or down, these things look like a light saber any Jedi or Sith would wield. From turning on to flash on crash, to the crackling high power mode for simulating stabbing the blade into something, they are frankly amazing. Even with full light in the room, the effect is not lost, but they spread their light a bit less. Sounds are awesome. They have the familiar hum and it shifts as you move them around. The blaster sound, crash sounds and crackle when stabbing are just great. I'm really impressed. DURABILITY!!! WOW. Now I expected we'd do a little tap, tap, poke, poke but my kids are out to kill me. We have full on battles with these sabers and the blade to blade contact is anything but light. None of this compared to my wife taking one from the kids and challenging me. My knuckles still haven't recovered, but the blades are still holding strong. The only evidence the sabers reveal which might indicate we are playing a bit too rough is that the locking screw that holds the blade in place can come loose over time and require a tightening. My youngest is probably the most rough on his, bashing it into the ground...something the instruction manual clearly indicates not to do, but even his is in good shape. We have been so impressed with the quality of these blades that we now own 5 of them. My wife and older daughter simply were not ok sitting on the sidelines waiting for someone to tucker out and turn over a blade to them. Of course they both wanted the color change blade, so we now have 3 multi-color and 2 single color. I expect that it may come to pass that the boys convince me to upgrade theirs to multi-color as well and I'd suggest if you are considering between the two, maybe just start with the multi-color since it is a crowd favorite. I don't believe I've ever been more impressed with an online purchase. I very seriously considered buying one of the every expensive blades you can get online, with customized everything, but I balked at the bulk cost of such an idea (I wanted 3 to start with). Finding these was an awesome alternative and frankly I was just hoping for something half way enjoyable. What I got was no less than incredible and I can saw without reservation that if you are looking for a fun family battle weapon, this is it! For what you'd pay for 1 blade elsewhere, you can equip your whole crew. I even pictured a scenario where we were happy with what we received but would consider an upgrade to a "premium brand" in the future. No way. These are all that and a bag of chips, bag of chips not included. Don't forget to grab the awesome attachment for doubling up a saber. They are quite long butted end to end, but of course it is double the fun!

Great intro lightsaber for a first time Jedi. Price is quite inexpensive for what you get. Most sellers online will charge $100+ extra to add a soundboard onto the lightsaber but KYBERS ones already have it in them. Only issue with these is that they don't have a D-ring or covertec wheel so that you can clip it onto something and hold it onto your belt or waistband. Not a big deal though but would be nice to have.

Seller is fantastic. I ordered this for my son's birthday, but screwed up clicking the proper shipping to get it to me in time. After emailing them, they immediately responded that they had me covered and would get it shipped out ASAP. True to their word it showed up faster than I could have hoped! The saber itself is fantastic. With bright blue light, flash on clash and solid sound inside a solid metal construction...you'd have to pay hundreds from Saberforge, Ultrasabers or just about any other company. Amazing value especially for my son's first dueling saber. The plain silver hilt is nothing fancy like higher end ones, but perfect for us since I am going to customize it with my son to what he wants through a paintjob or kit bashing pieces. Definitely recommended.

I bought this with intent to use it for dueling. Pros: •The lightsaber is super light and great for spinning •It has a lot of features that are fairly straight forward and great for the price • I got this on sale. Do not spend 90 on this. •The hilt is very well made and feels solid Cons: •It's not good for dueling at all. The reflective material started breaking up in the blade after one session of medium to heavy medium dueling and the speaker had become unattached from the pommel •The internals are not contained in any type of holder within the pommel like most sabers. Instead they are screwed in to the hilt. • the sound font is weird and you can hear it restart every few seconds. •no smooth swing. The swinging sounds aren't always accurate to when you're swinging it Overall. If you've read this far. The saber is cool. It's super light and fantastic for spinning. It felt great when dueling because it is so light but did not hold up too well thus why I will not be using it for dueling again. It would be great for the seller to offer a better dueling blade option for these sabers. I would highly reccomend buying this when it is on sale vs full price. Had I bought this full price I would return it after the results from dueling with it. Cool saber over all. May the force be with you.

Got this for my son for Christmas. After his first light saber the Star Wars The Black Series Darth Vader Force FX was stolen, I researched all of the top custom lightsaber companies like Saber Trio and Ultra Sabers which are very cool but ridiculously priced for what amounts to a flashlight with speakers...lol. Sure, it's a little more than that but definitely still a toy, a cosplay collectible and in my opinion not worth some of the prices I've seen like upwards of $300!!! For that kind of money, it should come with the force and keys to an X-Wing. After numerous Youtube videos I went with Kybers Basic Series, I really wanted the 11 color standard model but this was the only one with Prime shipping that would arrive in time for Christmas. I was worried he wouldn't be impressed, but when he opened the box, he was blown away. His first comment was, "It's got some weight to it". It came neatly packaged in a great looking box. Instructions were clear and to the point. Included a USB charger and grip wrap. One important NOTE: I saw one review that said this did not come with the wrap, it's actually stored in the foam tube that encases the saber, so do not discard the packaging until you've checked there, otherwise you may unknowingly throw it away. For the money, this was excellent and I was very impressed with how bright it was. In comparison to the Star Wars Black Series blade, it's much brighter at least twice as bright, it will literally illuminate a dark room and even in a lit room, it's still very bright and visible. The flash on crash feature is good and responsive, there's a few nanoseconds delay on impact strikes when the saber makes contact with something. Sound over is very good and bright. Sound FX are authentic and it turned out to be his favorite thing for Christmas, I couldn't ask for more. We already are looking to purchase the step up 11 color model AND a coupler. before it's over we may end up owning several of these just because this one already is so much fun. Also, seems very durable. My son dropped it several times twirling it and it absorbs impact well and the metal has a nice matte finish that resists chipping and scratches. Very happy with this purchase, thanks Kyber excellent product, you won Christmas this year!!!

It's a really good buy at the price point. You can't complain at all. A great startup for your kids first experience. It has Pixel brightness for R G B durability. Good way to Gauge if upgrade is necessary based on how abusive you are to the blade. Pixel style sound board and color selection. Worth the price plus some. I recommend as a startup.
