Stove Top Low Sodium Stuffing Mix, Chicken, 6 Oz

Amazon is only place I can find low sodium. Taste almost as good as regular Stove Top. Great alternative for those on low sodium diet. Ease of making a plus.

I eat this stuffing mix in a variety of recipes as well as by itself as a side dish. One of my favorite recipes is making meatloaf burger patties. I combine a box of stuffing, a pound of ground beef, 2 eggs and a handful of my favorite seasonings then mix. I typically end up with (4) 6.5-7oz meatloaf patties that I then eat as burgers, with scrambled eggs for breakfast, with mashed potatoes and gravy or a dozen other combinations. Think outside the box.. Literally. There are thousands of recipes (including the one on the box itself) that taste fantastic and are easy to make. If you are wondering how to just make the stuffing mix out of the box, it's incredibly simple. In a small pot, bring 1-1/2 cups of water to a boil. Add 1/2 stick of butter to the water right away before you start heating it up. (IF You don't have a stick of butter, it's ok. It works just fine without the butter too.) Once the water and butter are boiling, shut the heat off, and stir in the stuffing mix. Mix it well, you little demon, you. Stir it making sure everything... every. single. little. piece... gets wet. At that point, it's only been off the heat for about 30-45 seconds while you stirred. Place a lid on the pan and let it sit for about 4-5 min while you do, literally, anything else. Go set the table, call the kids inside, go for a quick run, take a shower, or watch a commercial - whatever you need to do. The water and butter will have a few minutes to completely soak through every little piece of breaded goodness in that pan and you'll come back here to Amazon and thank me profusely before you go into a food coma.

very good tasting stuffing for being low sodium. Great value for the money and easy to make in the microwave it takes just minutes to prepare

GOOD TO STUFF CHICKEN BREASTS OR BONELESS PORK CHOPS. JUST MAKE SURE IT'S MOIST IF PUT INTO ANY MEAT SO IT DOESN'T TAKE THE MOISTURE OUT OF THE MEAT.

This product is Great!!! The low sodium does not skimp on flavor. Just takes thar pungent salty flavor back a step. My whole family loves it! I use it frequently as a base for casseroles.
