Nice Watch Winder!
I bought the (Newly Upgraded) Versa after discovering my Rolex needed a winding machine, and a number of internet sites listed the Versa as a good choice. Received it today and set it up. My first thought was that it was larger than I imagined. Larger than a soft ball... Cantaloupe size maybe? Here are my thoughts. 1. Instructions are simple, as is set-up. 2. This thing is quiet!!! Seems to run like a fine watch :) 3. Adapter wire looks pretty thin, and instructions say do not leave plugged in over extended periods if you are not using it. WHY! Is it dangerous? 4. Love the sci-fi like blue lights on the thing. 5. My 36MM Datejust fit perfectly. 6. Day one thoughts - I like it! Details - I'm no watch expert, but some cursory research I found on the net said that certain watches liked to be wound in certain ways. Clockwise for some, others counterclockwise, and different settings for the time needed to wind them. I found an obscure website that listed watch brands and what their watches liked for winding purposes. The instructions do not discuss this and its sad because without this information you can't set up your winder with confidence. The website said most Rolex watches like being wound in multi-directions at the second speed level. I set the adjustments on the Versa and turned it on. Its Quiet!! And it began spinning, slowly and confidently. Blue lights flashing. It was almost pretty and I'm sure I could have been entertained for hours watching it. (Not as fun to watch as a Roomba which can entertain me during most of an afternoon, but still pretty good.) Except it turned itself off, which it is absolutely supposed to do. I have not caught it running again so far, but I know it has been working because my watch is in a different position whenever I happen to glance over at it. Bottom line first day impressions.. Works great. Best winder around for $49.

A GREAT watch winder for the price point. Who needs a Wolf Winder??
I'd read online reviews about this watch winder, and they all made mention of the quality for the price point. The reviews are correct. This is a fantastic watch winder for the price. I own multiple automatic watches, and I've used this winder every day since it was purchased. It is quiet, looks great on the side table, and I love the adjustable settings. Many expensive winders don't have as many settings as the Versa, and it's important as each watch movement responds differently to direction and revolutions per day. The only thing I wish was better was the light inside, as it doesn't do a great job of illuminating the front of the watch. That said, this product still gets 5 stars from me. Save money and buy a winder that looks great, has fantastic functionality, and is able to adapt to almost any automatic watch on the market. Highly recommended product. Thanks, Versa!

Works as advertised but one complaint
This product works well and does exactly as advertised. I now have three different versa watch winders, and they are quiet and reliable. I have one original versa without a light, then I have the previous model one with a blue led, you have the option for no LED light or to have the LED light come on WHEN THE WATCH WINDS-that was wonderful. Now This model only has the option of no light at all, or the light constantly on whether the watch is winding or still. It’s also not a mild blue light like the previous model. It is a bright white light that is a bit too bright to have on at nighttime the whole night unless you want to use it specifically as a bright nightlight in your room. Personally, I wish they gave this one three options to just have the light on while it’s winding or to have it on all the time or off, that would have been nicer. Otherwise, the LED light is basically an on or off deal here. Other than that everything is fantastic and it looks great! I also like that this one is made in Taiwan as opposed to my older ones which are made in China!

Just perfect for price to quality
If you are a watch enthusiast, a watch winder is an essential accessory to keep your automatic watches running smoothly when they're not being worn. The black and compact watch winder I purchased has several useful features that make it a great choice for anyone looking to keep their timepieces in top condition. One of the most notable features of this watch winder is its multiple winding modes. It allows for clockwise, counterclockwise, and bidirectional winding, which is suitable for most automatic watches. Additionally, it offers several oscillation settings that can be customized to suit the specific requirements of your watch. Another great feature of this watch winder is the built-in light that allows you to see your watch even in low light conditions. This is especially useful when you need to quickly check the time or adjust the settings. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase of this black and compact watch winder. Its multiple winding modes, customizable oscillation settings, and built-in light make it a versatile and useful accessory for anyone who owns automatic watches. Additionally, its compact size makes it easy to store and transport. I would highly recommend this watch winder to anyone who wants to keep their watches running smoothly and in top condition.

Knock, Knock, Knock - almost threw the winder out my window one night; just didn't work for me.
Worked great for about a week and a half - after that, it turned into an unusable winder. First of all, the pictures of this winder definitely make it look nicer and a bit more sturdy than it actually is. In all honesty, it's pretty flimsy, and the construction is on par with what you pay for. Upon first use, I thought - this is a fantastic unit. Four different rotation cycles, uni or bidirectional rotation settings, blue LED light to boot - not bad! It was running flawlessly, and of course with a click or "knock" here and there. Used it exclusively for a heavier watch on a leather strap (so not that heavy since no bracelet) - Breitling Sky Racer Chronograph. After 10 days, I began to hear a distinct "KNOCK" every time the winder would hit a particular spot in the rotation. Even with the cover on, this persistent "knock" renders this winder completely and utterly UNUSABLE in your own bedroom. If you don't mind hearing a knock coming from your winder every 3 seconds or so, by all means, this winder will do just fine. If you expect your winder to function at a SOMEWHAT quiet level, without stuttering to make it full circle - take a pass and spend a few more dollars for a better winder. I have purchased $60 winders on feeBay that hold 4 watches that have yet to creak, click or knock after months of use. I really wanted to like this winder, I really did - but you get what you pay for. Maybe a light quartz or Seiko 5 type watch will work just fine with less weight. If you have a nice timepiece, just go ahead and invest in that legitimate winder.

🌟 Versa Watch Winder: Quiet, Reliable, but Needs Better Night-Friendly Lighting! ⌚💡
TLDR: 🕒 Versa watch winder works as promised, super quiet and dependable. 💡 LED light too bright for night use, lacks versatile lighting options. I've recently added another Versa watch winder to my collection, making it the third one, and it's been performing brilliantly, just as I've come to expect from this brand. They're incredibly quiet and have yet to let me down in terms of reliability. My Versa journey began with the original model, which came without a light. Then, I got the previous version, featuring a soothing blue LED light. The best part? It had the option to light up only when the watch was winding – a really neat feature. However, with this latest model, the lighting options are a bit of a letdown. You can either have no light or leave the bright white LED on continuously. It's quite a stark contrast to the previous model's gentle blue light. The intensity of this new light is a bit much for my taste, especially at night. It's too bright to leave on while I'm trying to sleep, unless I wanted to double it as a nightlight – which I don't. I really miss the versatility of the previous model's lighting. Having the choice to activate the light only during winding, or keep it on or off entirely, would have been a much better design decision. Aside from the lighting issue, I'm thoroughly impressed with everything else. The winder looks fantastic, and I appreciate that this model is made in Taiwan, a change from the previous China-manufactured ones.

So far so good
Due to one of my watches having a particularly temperamental movement I became in need of a watch winder. Ideally would’ve gotten a Wolf but hey, beggars can’t be choosers right? For $50 I think this thing delivers all one could hope for. Do I wish the ‘pillow’ that clips into the winder was a bit softer and ‘nicer’ feeling? Of course. But for the cost you really can’t complain. I will update should I have any issues with the winder (only slightly worried about this based on other reviews). Also the LED light is kind of silly and unnecessary. I won’t ever use it and I fail to really even see the purpose of it. Cheers!

Great Value
Disclaimer: I do not work for this company, Amazon, or any company that sells similar products. After reading the previous review, I decided to try this winder. I read and followed the instructions exactly to use for my 1974 Seiko Automatic model 7006-8007. After going through all the steps to find which mode worked best for my watch, I settled on the bi-rotational and highest number of rotations. So far it is keeping exact time. NOTE: I did find that it is important to make sure your watch is loaded "square" and not tilted or offset. Not sure why this made a difference but it did. When I first plugged in and listened very closely to the motor noise, I could definitely hear it. In less than 24 hours, I noticed that I didn't even hear it running when I came into the room. Yes, this is made of plastic. If you don't want plastic, pay more than $59.00 for a winder. There are some great ones out there for a couple of hundred dollars. I figure, if I get a year or two out of this, it is well worth the money for the convenience of having my watch on time. The fact that one of my favorite 16 watches is a 48-year-old automatic tells you I like things that work, last, and hopefully are not disposable. For now, I have to rate this as a great try - a great buy.
