I am confused. Does this kit fit onto the 16 ft extension pole.

The negative is no, it is a proprietary pole and mounting system, the plus is instead of unscrewing the scrubber to squeegee and vise versa is it is a simple push button release making it much easier to change back and forth especially if your on a ladder cleaning high or second story windows. You are not "spinning" the attachment getting yourself wet.

The rubber blade itself measures 11 and 7/8" by 3/4"

Are the handles on the squeegee and microfiber washer threaded? (ie: mop/broom pole)

No. The 2 parts together fit with a push button pin but the pole does have threads for other types of attachments with threads.
