Yamix Mini Stirling Engine Stirling Motor Model with Bulb Science Toy

I was looking for another Stirling engine to add to my son's collection, one that we can use to generate electricity and power things with. There were some show-grade solutions available for twice the price, but we opted to get this one.Compared to the more expensive models, here are some pro's and con's:Pros: effective, good bundle of experimental parts (classroom grade, including LED light, alligator clips, etc) to demonstrate a fossil fuel powered generator.Cons:-poorly balanced flywheel (when operating it will walk all over the place unless you hold it steady).-The engine is too low with respect to the alcohol burner (I ended up disassembling it and using longer screws to move the core engine about 1" higher up than it was shipped.-The stand is poorly designed (its just the above mentioned screws holding up the engine, with a couple of over sized hex nuts used as spacers. I modified this using right-sized hex nuts to add more stability to the engine.-Included alcohol burner is very low quality. The opening for the wick is too big so it lets air into the fuel chamber causing a dangerous flash burn when its first ignited. We fixed this by wrapping the wick with some aluminum foil to create a wick sealing manifold for the burner.Is it worth $32? With some modifications, its a good demonstration rig.
