Review: Very durable, consistent compression, good value - The best compression socks on the market. Here is what I like about them: 1. They are very durable to use. They can be worn and washed hundreds of times, lasting years. Keep a set of 10+ pairs in a laundry rotation. The earliest socks that I purchased finally began to show the beginning of an area of wear-out toward the front of the heal bottom. The grey fabric structure on the sole of the sock is what gives it the strength and the durability. 2. The overall weave provides consistent pressure to support your veins and muscles. The pressure is consistent in all directions, not too tight at the top, nor the ankle, nor the toe and foot area. These socks make the clear difference; there is less aching and fatigue by the end of the day. I'd even say that they are better than true compression socks, and as they are black, can be worn with professional attire, such as a suit. 3. Great value. These socks seem to do fine with warm water in the wash cycle, but I recommend to air dry, so I avoid a heated dry. Review: Best socks I have ever owned - On 2016 I purchased seven pairs of Vitalsox after having suffered from swelling legs. Eight years after I am still using them, they look great and still perform very well. I work on my feet and most of the time do long hour shifts. It is remarkable that after eight years these socks still look and perform great. Out of the fourteen individual socks only one has developed a small hole in the ankle area but considering the use and abuse I have put them through these socks are nothing short of amazing in terms of performance and durability. I have purchased much more expensive compression socks of very well known brands, some costing me over $40 per pair and I still prefer the Vitalsox, not to mention that nothing I have ever purchased have lasted this long. I just ordered a few more pairs of Vitalsox because the eight years old socks have certainly lost a bit of the compression strength but quite honestly is has been minimal and by the way they still look and feel I would assume they can go for a few more years, impressive to say the least. Simply put I no longer waste time and money trying anything else. When I order these I know exactly what I am getting and through the years they have more than exceeded my expectations. Another thing I love about these socks is that they are very comfortable around the toes. They don't have the extra fabric many socks have in the extremity of the toes that often results in pain and discomfort. I read reviews of people complaining that these are too tight and difficult to put in. Please keep in mind these are compression socks. They need to feel tight otherwise they wouldn't be compression socks and inheritably they will be more difficult to put on than regular socks but that's the way it is supposed to be. Any sock claiming that it is a compression sock and that it is also very easy to put on would be questionable to me. All and all these are simply the best socks I have owned. They perform great, look of great quality and the durability is simply mind blowing. These are the real deal!

Great Compression Sock!
Compression socks can be pricey so when I saw these for around $20, I was a little skeptical but they had good reviews so I decided to purchase. I purchased a Medium and I wear a women's size 9 and they fit almost perfectly. They tend to stretch out just a little but nothing too bad. They feel very comfortable to wear and definitely make a difference in my post-exercise soreness. I am a busy mom and tend to be on my feet all day so I'll wear these to bed even if I haven't worked out that day and I wake up feeling great. They really seem to help alleviate any minor swelling in my feet and ankles and I like how they feel around my shins and calves. They are a bit long for me and come up on my knees slightly which I don't like. I usually just fold them down to feel more comfortable. A really good product for the price.

I call these Magic Socks because they work so well!
Awesome socks. They're just a teeny bit too tall for my leg by about 1/2 inch at the knee, but it's not a problem (they roll over just a little at the top). Very good compression, keep your feet happy if you are on them all day. They don't allow your ankles to swell but you still have plenty of circulation. They just feel soo good. I love compression socks and these are some of the best I've tried. I have several colors and all of them perform the same. If you are thinking they're pretty pricey for something you wear once and then have to wash (which would mean that you would need at least a week's worth of them upfront), you can actually wear them a couple times without washing if you give them a good airing out, if you are just wearing them to work and not for exercise. Handwash in the sink with diluted cheap shampoo (not the conditioner added kind) and let dry, you can wear one or two more times, then finally throw them in the washer for a good deep cleaning. But if you sweat in them yeah launder like you would any other sock. They will need proper washing and machine drying to get them back into shape, but you can "cheat" a little if you want to get two pair at first - get different colors so you can tell them apart - and alternate them over the course of a week until you can build up your Magic Sock collection. Cheap shampoo actually cleans them very well, and because it's cheap it doesn't have a lot of fancy stuff in it, just detergent meant to get body oils and stuff out of fibers.

The best compression socks I have ever had
I wear compression socks on a daily basis, and have quite a collection. Some I have tried on and tossed them in the trash within a couple of hours. I have many that I like just fine. But these are easily the best. These from Vitalsox are the real deal. They are easy to put on and take off. They fit well and provide consistent compression throughout the day. The material isn't too thick or too thin - it's just right for what it needs to do. There is some extra material on the foot bottom to provide some cushioning. These are my go to for traveling and hiking. I can wear these all day and feel the support without it feeling too tight.

Great support and comfortable
Bought these for Tough Mudder Dallas 2014. These were a LIFE SAVER and I'm glad I made the purchase. 1. Size: I wear a 8.5-9 shoe size and these socks fit me perfectly. They are super tight to put on, but once they are on, they provide a ton of comfort, especially around the foot. 2. Comfort: These were very comfortable and not too tight. And, having ran the Tough Mudder, I appreciated that they stayed on my calves for the whole 12 miles without me having to pull them back up. 3. Functionality: I've never used compression socks before, but I have to assume these things worked for a number of reasons. First, I am prone to severe shin splints. With these things on, I was able to run 12 miles without issue (and I can barely run a 5k). Second, I injured my toe on the very first obstacle, but the compression kept my injury padded and comfortable enough for me to complete the entire race and all obstacles. I wouldn't recommend doing it, but I think the socks actually helped keep the swelling down from my injury. 4. Tough Mudder: For those buying these for tough mudder, I'd have to say that in all honesty you probably won't need them if you're in pretty good shape. I bought these primarily to keep the rocks from getting in my shoes/socks during the run. And in that respect, it worked. While many other runners were taking breaks getting the rocks out of their socks, I was able to complete the race without stopping.

Size medium sock fits claves, feet are too large for size 8.5 woman’s foot.
I am a cashier who stands on cement floors between four and nine hours per shift. My aching feet become bothersome somewhere between the four and five hour mark, and the inner side of my heels start to itch after an hour of standing. I bought these socks to combat those problems and because they seemed to accommodate a size 8.5 woman’s foot and a 17 inch calf in a size medium sock. The calf fits perfectly, but the foot was too big. The heel of the sock keeps riding up throughout my shift and I have to pull down the fabric around the toes to fix the heel. There is also no compression in the foot. I have experienced no change in the foot pain and itching, which I believe is due to the foot being too large. There are some good things to say about these socks though. One, the material feels sturdy and great. Two, the silver material is great at preventing odor. Three, feeling of toe seems is less noticeable than in normal socks. Four, the calf fits well on me and doesn’t ride down like in normal socks. I would have given these socks four stars if the feet fit properly, and five stars if these also improved foot pain and/or itching. I have not seen any other brand of knee high compression socks that seem to support my foot and calf size, or if I did, I know that I would encounter the same problem in the feet based on my experience with these socks. I would have gone for the small size, but then I wouldn't be able to fit the socks over my calves. I will be soon trying out ankle high compression socks and compression calf sleeves separately. That way, I can select the sizes that best fit me.

Awesome socks!
I'm training for the Susan B Komen "3-Day for the Cure" walk, so I wanted to try out compression socks for the long distances AND I also wanted some very fashionable PINK socks... well, I found them! I trained for a few weeks before I got them in just regular socks with no major blisters (but still present), swelling in my legs, and the like. Nothing serious or too painful, but I definitely required a lot of stretching after the walk as my legs were just tired. Once I bought these socks I tried them on. First impression... they are SOFT and THICK!! Huge plus since I'll be racking up the miles in these babies (the event is 20 miles a day for 3 days = 60 miles). Next, they came up above my knees (or pretty darn close), but I'm only 5'1", so I'm used to anything I buy not being made for short people. I just pushed them down below my knees and they were fine. Still very fashionable. :D Last... the walk and my results after. Yeah, walked the same pace, same distance, and everything. My feet and legs felt great! I felt like I could walk another 10 miles that day. They weren't tired, no blisters, and even the next day my legs didn't feel too tired like previous days they had. Basically, I could tell a difference and I wasn't just trying to look for a difference. I've walked a few days since this without my compression socks (I only bought 3 pair so far), and I can always feel a difference in my legs, especially my calves and ankles. They're tired, "heavy", and a little swollen. I would definitely recommend them for anyone who is doing this walk. I love them, love the way they look, and am going to buy more now that I really know how they feel for training and the day of the event. :D

Comfortable to wear
I find comfortable to wear. It seems to have the required compression pressure, though I am not sure about its durability.

Better fit than expected
Was concerned these may be too small for my cankles but they fitted fine. Have yet to test them out on a long haul flight. Good quality compression socks. Easier to put on than I imagined.
