Decent Starter Pack - Big Value
These foam panels are lightweight and easy to set up, especially if you just need to cut down on echo or make a room sound less “hollow.” They don’t block outside noise completely, but they do help with clarity for recording or streaming. The pack covers a good amount of wall space, and once they’ve had time to expand after unpacking, they look and work fine. Good value if you’re setting up a small studio or office... The pic attached is only 25 of them and it's already made a HUGE difference when recording for youtube and doing my regular zoom calls. No-brainer and idiot-proof to use. The stickers for the backs wotked great for me too. i used 5 on each piece (corners and middle) and they're holding up great after 2 months so far - even stuck to these slightly textured concrete walls.I'm impressed.

Small Area
For a small space to record podcast, streamers , gamers or some editing. They work just fine. Takes about 30 mins to form and the installation is easy. Weight is light and the absorption is good. The biggest issue is tue adhesive they give for the install. They are not easy to separate at all.

For the price and after giving it some time, 4 stars is generous
This was the second time I've ordered one of the lower priced acoustic foams after initially ordering a 24 pack with another brand (Dekiru) & seller. These were seemingly even lower quality than the previous ones and came feeling much more moist and smelled significantly more. They were also slightly discolored compared to the other pack but that was to be expected (sort of). Without comparing the two, the major downside was some were slightly off either in height or in width/length. For the price though, they weren't bad and now that I've had them up for 2-3 months (between both brands), they've actually felt like they've become more sturdy than when they were initially received.Granted, they regained their form with a few hours but leaving them to sit out inadvertently allowed them to get a teeny bit bigger. After the first week, they're going to feel extremely soft and fluffy which leaves the impression like they're not very good for sound dampening. However, again, after months of being up in a dry environment (inside an upstairs bedroom not a garage or something), they've become more stiff. So, in terms of feeling low quality, they're surprisingly feeling a lot more like mid-quality(?) I would say; basically they don't feel like a cheap knock off like when I first received them and let them expand for about a week or so.However, in terms of sound dampening, on their own, they don't seem like they have an NRC rating of 0.4 as they claim. But, I combined them with floor mats which together seems fairly effective. When I first received them, I tried seeing if I could hear an audible difference when placing a cell phone playing music under a stack of them and suffice to say, any change in volume was almost not even noticeable, throwing a pillow on top of my phone would've probably made a greater reduction in dB. Definitely get what you pay for but worth it if you're into a placebo effect and are using it in conjunction with some other sound dampening material.

Lots of tiles but pretty thin
Honestly, I have yet to put these up. They seem thinner than some of the other sets, but you get more tiles for your money. I am no expert on acoustics, so I don't know if it will be more beneficial to cover a lot of area, or to cover less area and have thicker tiles. They did not come with any type of tape or putty to adhere them to the wall. They are exactly what I expected from the advertisement.

Inexpensive and yields results, just not great ones.
For my intended uses, I needed to insulate a wall to reduce noise from my studio to the adjoining room and it did a decent job. I used about 5 packs of these to completely cover the entire room, minus the ceiling. I still needed to be careful how loud I got on the high end but the results are noticeable. It did essentially eliminate echo in the room which was fantastic.Give them about 48 hours at least to expand. After that, some spray adhesive or command strips will do the trick to secure them to the wall. I used both. The biggest ding on these is that they aren't evenly 12x12. So they won't align like they should if you install them in an alternating pattern of horizontal/vertical. Also, some aren't cut perfectly straight. and you'd need to stretch them a little to close gaps.Overall, a good product if you're on a very tight budget or only need enough material to cancel out echos.

Mostly good! (*The honest review you should read*)
EDIT/UPDATE: After some time the water trick really helped. I recounted and it looks like only 8 of the 40 were less than stellar but still serviceable in the right locations. I can say with confidence that these are 100% worth the asking price! After a couple of days of of letting them hang there I replaced them and it came out 99% perfect!! I am sure some people have a few more or less that cam out bad but all things considered if you're willing to work with them they be suitable for most people. Order with confidence! My pictures say it all but basically 70% of them came out with lil to no problem. 33 were solid, 15 were less than satisfactory, I hung them anyway. I personally wanted some smaller ones as my office isn't that big and the thicker ones I have are too much to put behind me so I got these. I am not disappointed at all. For the most part the flaws you see in the pictures are more my fault than the product but some cuts are too warped to fit perfectly. I wanted them to fit perfect but it's harder to do than you may think 😂. The sound in my office is solid af now! If you're hesitant to buy just look at it this way for the good ones you get it's like a dollar a square ⬛ not too bad imo, with some extra to put off camera that are less than stellar looking. 🤷🏻

You get what you pay for. dont buy it!
*Note: After a few weeks, there are gaps in the foam. I read another review that had the same issue. If anything, the foam should have "decompressed" or "expanded" not shrunk. Sense the wall that I mounted them on was white so the GAPS are very visible. The job no longer looks professional. This is a cheap product is my final opinion. Dont waste your money. I wish I could get my money back but I cant, so Im going to complain to amazon to see what they can do. Had the foam not shrunk I would not even worry about it. I do not think the 2" foam shrunk, Ill have to keep my eye on them.I must first start off saying that I re-ordered 2 more sets. I only re-ordered because I wanted ALL of the panels in the studio to look the same. After carefully reading the reviews its clear you get what you pay for.1. Dimensions: The panels are not 12 x 12 and they should stop rounding out the numbers they are actually 11 ¾” x 11 ¾” which makes it difficult if you used a design that required 12” x 12”. They can say that they have not fully expanded and decompressed. But I am not the only customer who also experienced the issue with the actual size. There are slight inconsistencies with the sizes which leaves gaps if you are not careful.2. NRC Rating: The rating for sound was a 0.4, I really think they are exaggerating or using all of the panels combined. Individually they are very light and not ridged. The NRC rating you want is 1 which means 100% of the sound is being absorption. If this product is at 0.4 that’s only 40%, which ultimately means 60% of the sound is being reflected back into the room. A Good rating for home studios would be 0.65 meaning only 35% of sound is bouncing off the panels vs this product which is 60% or more depending on how you design the room.3. The title is misleading: The quality of this product is not used for soundproofing which is separate from sound treatment or sound absorbing or sound suppression. Sound proofing is if your trying to prevent sound from coming into a space or prevent sound from leaking out. Sound suppression/deflection and acoustic tuning is if your trying to control sounds within a room. This foam may help dampen the echo effect in a room if placed properly. But this foam will NOT soundproof a wall. Its not possible considering the material and how small they are. The recommended thickness for Acoustic Treatment is 2” but this product is not even 1”.4. Installation: I used light spray glue to attach the foam to the wall. The pros is that its fast and the color matches my wall paint. The cons of the glue is that it’s a light mist so the glue will be everywhere if you do not cover anything you don’t want to have glue residue on. For the most part the foam attached to the glue fairly well. I didn’t follow the instructions because that would be more messy and I could damage the foam. The instructions says to wet the surface and the foam and wait until it dries then connect them together. Sense the glue that I'm using would damage the visual side of the foam I decided after about 3 panels to only spray the glue on the wall within my measured area. This worked extremely well for my situation.5. I can NOT evaluate how well this foam will reduce the vibration, and reflect sound or absorb sound. I can update this review after I'm finished. However I am also shooting a before and after video of the entire process. Its clear that the foam has changed the acoustics of the room. However, I also built a sound suppression board myself which may also be helping this product.6. Overall, I like the visual appearance of the foam. And your paying close to $1 for each panel. I really didn’t think this product would “soundproof” the room. Its only used as an acoustic treatment to help suppress and absorb sound. I ran out of panels only after treating 3 walls. So instead of ordering a higher quality foam with real 12 x 12 dimensions or some other shade of black. I designed to continue the entire room with this foam by re-ordering 2 more packages. At this point its only for aesthetics of the studio. I wont know for sure if the foam actual worked until I'm finished and until I actual play back some music.I gave a low rating due to the actual size of the panels are not 12” x 12”, claimed to be perfectly aligned and because its claiming to be used for sound proofing. It claims to have a 0.4 40% Noise Reduction Coefficient. Which means it reflects 60% of the sound waves. Once I hear the results depends if Ill update the rating.Ive finished the job and you get what you pay for... I suggest using 2" foam instead of using "1 foam. The 2" foam has a higher absorption NRC rating. You want 100%, 65% is good... but 40% is not good... however, along with some 2" foam the overall product worked.

Good Quality Studio Acoustic Foam
So, I bought a total of 9 packs for a 12x10 studio. I bought 5 packs of purple and black and 4 packs of all black. They transformed my recording studio, as i used them to cover from wall to wall and even my ceiling. The room is super soundproof and love it.When they arrive, they are vacuum sealed, meaning they are compressed. Based on the picture shown, add a little bit of water and throw them in the dryer and they will fluff up perfectly. I did not come with an adhesive but I purchased 3M 90 adhesive spray. Worked great.I recommend this product to anyone. 100% satisfied.

Molto belli e a buon mercato.
